Release Response – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to release an EAN as a response for a selected ESR. The status of the EAN is updated to “Released” and the status of the ESR is updated to either “Closed” or “Pre-Closed”, as the case may be.
The “Release Response” page allows you to select an EAN and release it as a response to the “Engineering Service Request” business component. This page also allows you to cancel the selected EAN.
The “Modify Engg Advice Note” page allows you to modify or add the following details of the EAN before it is released:
Reference document details
Aircraft effectivity details
Part effectivity details and
Serial number effectivity details.
The “View Associated Service Request” page allows you to view the details of the ESRs associated to the selected EAN. The “View ES Request” page allows you to view the details of the selected ESR. The “View Advice Note Revision History” page allows you to view the history of all the revisions undergone by the EAN.
The “View Engg. Advice Note” page allows you to view the following details of an already existing EAN:
Reference document details
Aircraft effectivity details
Part effectivity details and
Serial number effectivity details.

What you can do in this activity
View advice note revision history
You can select an EAN and release it as a response for an ESR. The selected EAN is sent to the corresponding “Engineering Service Request” business component as a response.
Use the “Release Response” page to select an EAN and release it as a response for an ESR.
You can modify the EAN selected in the “Select Engg. Advice Note” page. Only those EANs that are in the “Fresh” status can be modified.
Use the “Modify Engg. Advice Note” page to modify the EAN details.
View advice note revision history
You can view the revision history of an engineering advice note (EAN). The system retrieves and displays all the revision numbers of the EAN selected in the “Release Response” page.
Use the “View Advice Note Revision History” page to view the revision history, if available, of the selected EAN.
