Editing aircraft effectivity details for the EAN – An overview

This page allows you to modify and add the aircraft effectivity details of the EAN. An EAN recognizes an aircraft by the four identifiers, that is, the variable tab number, registration number, tail number and the manufacturer’s serial number. All these identifiers can be modified in this page. The aircraft effectivity for the EAN can be either “All” or “Restricted”. When the aircraft effectivity is “All”, it indicates that the EAN is applicable for all the aircraft registration numbers defined for that model in the login organization unit. When the aircraft effectivity is “Restricted”, it indicates that the EAN is applicable only for specific aircraft registration numbers, defined for the model.

If the EAN has been raised for an aircraft, there must be at least one aircraft model associated to it. You can modify the aircraft details of only those EANs that are in the “Fresh” status. The system stores the user ID and the server date along with the other modified details for the EAN.

Note: You can enter the aircraft effectivity details afresh in this page, when this page is invoked from the “Create Advice Note”
