Viewing part effectivity details of the EAN

This page allows you to view the part details of the component or the engine, for which the EAN has been raised. Tell me more.
Select the “View Part Effectivity” link at the bottom of the “View Engg. Advice Note” page.
The “View Part Effectivity” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “Advice Note Details” group box:

Engg Advice Note # |
The number identifying the EAN for which the part number details are displayed. |

Revision # |
The revision number of the EAN, if available. |
|
Subject |
The subject of the EAN. Zoom facility available |
The system displays the following in the “Part Details” multiline:

Part # |
The part number of the component or engine, for which the EAN has been raised. |

Part Description |
A textual description of the part number. |

Serial # Effectivity |
The system displays “All” or “Restricted” to indicate whether the EAN is applicable for all the serial numbers of the selected part or restricted to only certain serial numbers.

Viewing part effectivity details of the EAN – An overview
This page allows you to view the part details of the component or the engine, for which the EAN has been raised. Details such as the part number and the description of the part are displayed along with the EAN number, revision number and the subject of the EAN.
The part effectivity for the EAN can be either “All” or “Restricted”. When the part effectivity is “All”, it indicates that the EAN is applicable for all the serial numbers and lot numbers of the part number. When the part effectivity is “Restricted”, it indicates that the EAN is applicable only for the specified serial numbers of the part..
