Viewing advice note revision history

This page allows you to view the revision history of an engineering advice note (EAN). Tell me more.

Select the “View Advice Note Revision History” link at the bottom of the “Release Response” page.

The “View Advice Note Revision History” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following in the “Advice Note Details” group box:

Engg Advice Note #

The number identifying the EAN for which you wish to view the revision history details.

Note: You can view the revision history details only if this EAN number is the base EAN number.

Response Date	The date on which the EAN was last modified.
Subject	The subject of the EAN. Zoom facility available
ATA #	The ATA chapter number associated to the EAN.
Background Details	A textual description of the reasons which led to the creation of the ESR.

The system lists all the revision numbers of the EAN in the “Revision Details” multiline:

Revision #	The revision number of the EAN.
Subject	The subject of the EAN. Zoom facility available.
Recommendation	A textual description of the clarifications given by the engineering department for the ESR.
Response Date	The date on which the EAN was last revised. Zoom facility available.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select a revision number of the EAN for viewing its details.

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “View Advice Note” link at the bottom of the page to view the details of the EAN revision number selected in the multiline.

Viewing advice note revision history – An overview

This page allows you to view the revision history of an engineering advice note (EAN). The system retrieves and displays all the revision numbers of the selected EAN in the multiline. Details such as the revision number, the subject of the revised EAN, the recommendation given by the engineering cell and the date on which the revision number was generated are displayed. You can select a revision number in the multiline to view the details.
