Selecting work order for reporting employee work details
This page allows you to select the work order or task for which you wish to report the actual details. Tell me more.
Select the “Report Employee Work” link under the “Hangar Work Reporting” business component.
The “Employee Work Information” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields must be entered. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following in the “Employee Details” group box:
Employee # |
The employee code of the logged in user. |
Employee name |
The name of the employee. |
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a work order, Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Use the drop-down list box to specify the search option. The system displays the following options: |

Note: The system retrieves the work order or task based on the option selected in the “Task Reporting” field in the “Set Options” activity. If “All Employees” is selected, the work orders or tasks of all the employees are retrieved. If “Assigned Employee” is selected, the work orders or tasks, which have been assigned to the login user, are retrieved.
Adv. Search ID |
Use the drop-down list box to select the search ID. The system retrieves the work orders or tasks based on the filter criteria specified for the search ID. Leave this field blank to search irrespective of this field. The system leaves the field blank by default. |

Use the drop-down list box to select the display option. The system displays the following: |

Visit Package # |
The number identifying the visit package (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using “*” character. The system displays all the work orders or tasks that are associated to the visit package whose numbers are similar to the number entered here. |
Aircraft Reg # |
The registration number identifying the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using “*” character. The system displays all the work orders or tasks raised for the aircraft whose registration numbers are similar to the number entered here. |
Work Order # |
The number identifying the work order (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using “*” character. The system displays all the work orders whose numbers are similar to the number specified here. |
Job Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the job type, which could be “Aircraft”, “On-Wing” or “Component Removal”. The system retrieves the work orders associated to the job type selected here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve the work orders irrespective of the job type. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Work Center # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the work center number. The system retrieves the work orders or tasks that are associated to the work center selected here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve the work order details irrespective of the work center. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Assignment Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the assignment, which could be “Direct” or “Work Group”. Leave this field blank to search irrespective of the assignment type. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Assigned From Date |
The starting date in the range of the dates for which the work orders or tasks are to be retrieved (Date format). |
Assigned To Date |
The ending date in the range of the dates for which the work orders or tasks are to be retrieved (Date format). The date entered in this field must be later than the date entered in the “Assigned From Date” field. |
ATA # |
The number identifying the ATA chapter associated to the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the work orders associated to the ATA number entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the work orders irrespective of the ATA number. |
Task Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the task category. The system lists all the quick codes of type “Task Category” as defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the “Maintenance Task” business component. The system retrieves all the tasks belonging to the category selected here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the tasks irrespective of their category. |
Work Order Description |
The textual description of the work order (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the work orders whose description is similar to the description entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the work orders irrespective of the description. |
Task Description |
The textual description of the task (Alphanumeric, 150). You enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the tasks whose description is similar to the description entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the tasks irrespective of the description. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
Note: If all the fields are left blank, the system retrieves the work order or tasks based on the option selected in the “Task Reporting” field in the “Set Options” activity. If “All Employees” is selected, the work orders or tasks of all the employees are retrieved.
If “Assigned Employee” is selected, the work orders or tasks, which have been assigned to the login user, are retrieved.
The system displays the following field in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria specified:
Work Order # |
The work order number retrieved by the system. |
Job Type |
The type of the job, which could “Aircraft”, “On-Wing” or “Component Removal”. |
Task # |
The task number associated to the work order. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the task. |
Assignment Type |
Indicates whether the work order or task has been “Directly” assigned to the employee or through the “Work Group”. |
Work Group # |
The work group through which the work order or task is assigned to the employee. |
Assign. Start Date |
The planned start date of the task, or the date on which the work order or task is assigned to the employee. |
Assign. Start Time |
The planned start time, or the time at which the work order or task is assigned to the employee. |
Assign. End Date |
The planned end date, or the date on which the work order or task has to be completed by the employee. |
Assign. End Time |
The planned end time, or the time at which the work order or task has to be completed by the employee. |
Total Assignment Hrs |
The total hours assigned to the employee to complete the work order or task. |
Assignment Comments |
Any general comments or remarks regarding the assignment of the work order or task to the employee. |
Work Start Date |
The date on which the execution of the work order or task is started. |
Work Start Time |
The time at which the execution of the work order or task is started. |
Note: If the employee has already reported the actuals for the work order or task, then the system displays the first date and time at which the actuals were reported, in the “Work Start Date” and “Work Start Time” fields.
Work End Date |
The date on which the execution of the work order or task is completed. |
Work End Time |
The time at which the execution of the work order or task is completed. |
Note: If the work order or task has been signed off, or if the status is set to “Completed”, the system displays the signed off date and time in the “Work End Date” and “Work End Time” fields.
Total Worked Hours |
The total duration worked to complete the work order or task. |
Attendance Type |
The attendance type for the employee, which could be “Normal” indicating the standard working hours defined for the employee. |
Timesheet Status |
The status of the timesheet, which could be one of the following:

% Completed |
The percentage of work completed in the work order or task. |
Job Status |
The job status assigned to the work order or task. |
Sign-Off Status |
The sign off status of the task. The system displays one of the following: |

Execution Comments |
Any comments or remarks regarding the execution of the work order or task. |
Last Updated Date |
The date on which the details were last updated. |
ATA # |
The ATA chapter number associated to the work order or task. |
DSC # |
The DSC number associated to the work order or task. |

The aircraft registration number for which the work order or task is applicable. |
Visit Package # |
The visit package number to which the work order or task is associated. |
Work Order Description |
The textual description of the work order. |
Task Description |
The textual description of the task. |
Engg Service Req # |
The number identifying the engineering service request associated to the work order. |
Engg Advice Note# |
The engineering advice note associated to the work order. |
Customer # |
The number identifying the customer, who owns the aircraft. |
Customer Name |
The name of the customer owning the aircraft. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the work order or task for which the actual details are to be entered.

Select the “Record In-Direct Work Hours” link at the bottom of the page to record indirect work hours for an employee.
Select the “Record Time Sheet” link at the bottom of the page to record the time sheet details for the employee.
Select the “Record Parameter Values” link at the bottom of the page to record the parameter values.
Select the “Record Sign Off” link at the bottom of the page to sign of the task and the sub tasks.
Select the “View Material Request Status” link at the bottom of the page to view the status of the material request.

Selecting work order for reporting employee work details – An overview
This page allows you to select the work order or task for which you wish to report the actual details. You can search for the work order or tasks based on the following filter criteria:
Advanced search ID created in the “Hangar Work Order” business component
Whether work order details or task details must be retrieved
Whether the details must be retrieved for work orders for which the actuals have already been reported, or not reported
Visit package, aircraft registration number, work order number, job type
Work center associated to the work order, type of the assignment and assignment date
Based on the search criteria entered, the system displays the work order or task details.
