In this page, you can record the execution details for the work order or for the task associated to the work order.  Tell me more.

The “Job Report Information” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date & Time Format

The format in which the date and time fields must be entered. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following in the “Work Order Details” group box:

Visit Package #

The visit package to which the work order is associated.

Aircraft Reg #

The aircraft registration number for which the visit package is applicable.

Work Order #

The work order for which the execution details must be entered.

Job Type

The job type of the work order, “Aircraft”, “On-Wing” or “Component Removal”.

Work Center #

The work center to which the work order is associated.

Task #

Use the drop-down list box to select the task for which the execution details must be entered. If the “Task Reporting” option is set to “Assigned Employees” in the “Set Options” activity, the system lists only those tasks in the work order, which has been assigned to the currently logged in user. Otherwise the system lists all the tasks in the work order. Leave this field blank if you wish to enter the execution details for the work order. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Note: If this field is left blank, the system retrieves the work order execution details and the discrepancy details.

The system displays the following fields on clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton:

Revision #

The revision number of the task.

Task Description

The textual description of the task.

Zoom facility available.

% Completed

The percentage of work completed in the work order or task (Integer). The value entered in this field must be positive.

Job Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the job status of the task, which could be “Scheduled”, “In-Progress” or “Completed”. You have to set this field to “Completed” if the end date and time is entered.

  • If the “Scheduled” option is selected, ensure that the “Percentage Completed” field is left blank.

  • If the “In-progress” option is selected, ensure that the value entered in the “Percentage Completed” field is between 0% and 99%.

  • If the “Completed” option is selected, ensure that the value entered in “Percentage Completed” is 100%.

Note: You cannot set the job status to “Completed”, if an employee has logged on to the particular task.

Start Date & Time

The actual start date of the work order or the task in the specified date format (Date Format). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if the “Job Status” is set to “In-Progress” or “Completed”.

Enter the actual start time of the work order or the task in the edit box displayed along side (Time Format).

End Date & Time

The actual end date of the work order or the task in the specified date format (Date Format). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if the “Job Status” is set to “Completed”.

Enter the actual end date of the work order or the task in the edit box displayed along side (Time Format).

Note: The end date and time must be later than the start date and time.

Actual Elapsed Time

The actual time spent, in hours, days, or minutes, on the task or work order (Decimal). The value entered in this field must be positive integer.

The system displays the options “Minutes”, “Hours” and “Days”. The system sets this field to “hours”, by default.

Note: If a value is entered in this field, and if the end date is not entered, then the system computes the end date as the sum of the actual elapsed time and the start date entered in the “Start Date & Time” field.

Execution Comments

Any additional remarks or comments regarding the execution of the task or work order (Alphanumeric, 255).

Enter the following in the “Defaults Details” group box:

Action

Use the drop-down list box to select the action performed. The system lists the following options:

  • Transferred– Select this option to transfer the discrepancy.

  • No Fault – Select this option to indicate that there is no fault in the aircraft.

  • Closed – Select this option to close the discrepancy.

  • Canceled – Select this option to cancel the discrepancy.

Employee #

The code identifying the employee handling the discrepancy (Alphanumeric 20). If no value is entered in this field, then the system updates this field with the login user ID.

Rectified Date

The date on which the discrepancy was rectified. (Date Format). The system displays the current server date by default.

Inspection Date

The date on which the discrepancy was inspected. (Date Format) The system displays the current server date by default.

The system displays the following in the “Associated Discrepancy Resolution Details” multiline:

Note: If the work order specified in the “Work Order #” field is set as a corrective work order, the system retrieves all the discrepancies/maintenance reports that are to corrected by the work order. Otherwise the system retrieves all the discrepancies/maintenance reports that are reported during execution of the work order.

Discrepancy #

The code identifying the discrepancy or maintenance report.

Discrepancy Description

A textual description of the discrepancy.

Log Item #

The code identifying the log item.

Ref Document #

The reference document number, which contains the details of the discrepancy.

Tracking Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the tracking status of the discrepancy or maintenance report. The system lists all the values defined for the attribute “Tracking Status” in the “Maintenance Discrepancy Attribute” activity of the “Common Master” business component. The system leaves this field blank by default.

The system displays the following:

ATA #

The number that identifies the ATA chapter.

Fault #

The code identifying the fault in the aircraft.

Cause #

The code identifying the cause for the fault.

Action

Use the drop-down list box to select the action performed. The system lists the following options.

  • Transferred – Select this option to transfer the discrepancy.

  • No Fault – Select this option to indicate that there is no fault in the aircraft.

  • Closed – Select this option to close the discrepancy.

  • Canceled – Select this option to cancel the discrepancy.

If no value is selected in this field, the system updates this field with the value selected in the “Action” field of the “Default Details” group box.

Corrective Action

The corrective action taken for resolving the discrepancy. (Alphanumeric 2000).

 

The system displays the following:

Record Status

The record status of the discrepancy.

Note: If the discrepancy/MR is included through a visit package, then the system displays the record status of the discrepancy/MR as identified in the “Visit Package” business component.

If the discrepancy/MR is reported through hangar work order, then the system displays the record status as “Pending” or “Deferred” as available at the time of creating a corrective work order in the “Process Discrepancies” activity of the “Hangar Work Order” business component.

Discrepancy Category

The category of the discrepancy.

Fault Description

The textual description of the fault.

Transfer To: Part #

The code identifying the part to which the discrepancy is to be transferred (Alphanumeric 40). Ensure that the value entered is a valid part number as specified in the “Part Administration” business component and is in ‘active’ status. Also ensure that the type of the part is “Component”, if the action selected is “Transfer”.

Transfer To: Serial #

The serial number of the part. (Alphanumeric 40). Ensure that the value entered is a valid serial number for the part number, as available in the “Stock Maintenance” business component. Also ensure that this field is not left blank, if a value is entered in the “Transfer to: Part #” field.

Note: If any value is entered in this field, ensure that the “Transfer To: Part #” field is not left blank.

Transfer To: Component ID

The code identifying the component to which the discrepancy is to be transferred. (Alphanumeric 90). Ensure that the value entered is a valid component ID as defined in the “Aircraft” business component and is in ‘active’ status.

Note: If a value is specified in any one of these fields, ensure that the “Action” field is set to “Transfer”.

The system displays the following field:

Deferred Till Date

The date till which the discrepancy has been deferred.

Remarks

Any other remarks regarding the discrepancy. (Alphanumeric 255).

 

The system displays the following field:

File Name

The name of the document containing the discrepancy resolution details.

 

  • Enter the following fields:

Rectified By

The login ID of the employee who rectified the discrepancy. (Alphanumeric 20). If no value is entered in this field, then the system updates this field with the value entered in the “Employee #” field.

Rectified Date

The date on which the discrepancy was rectified. (Date format). If no value is entered in this field, then the system updates this field with the value entered in the “Rectified Date” field of the “Default Details” group box.

Inspected By

The login ID of the employee who inspected the discrepancy. (Alphanumeric 20). If no value is entered in this field, then the system updates this field with the value entered in the “Employee #” field.

Inspected Date

The date on which the discrepancy was inspected. (Date format). If no value is entered in this field, then the system updates this field with the value entered in the “Inspected Date” field of the “Default Details” group box.

 

The system displays the following:

Reported By

The login ID of the user who reported the discrepancy.

Reported Date

The date on which the discrepancy was reported.

Note: On clicking the “Record Execution Report” pushbutton, the system does not allow modification of the “Action” field, if the action has already been set to “Transferred”, “No Fault Found”, “Closed” or “Canceled”.

The system performs the following:

Note: You can set the Action of a discrepancy to “Closed” or “No Fault Found” only if the Signed Off attribute of all tasks/sub tasks associated with the discrepancy is “Yes” or “Void.

Recording job execution information - An overview

In this page, you can record the execution details for the work order or for the task associated to the work order. You can enter the job execution information, such as percentage of work completed, start date   end date and time, actual duration of time spent and comments for a work order. You can also select the task in this page and report the same details at the task level. The system displays the discrepancies that are recorded for the work order in this page. You can either close the discrepancy in this page or make the discrepancy “Pending” for time being and resolve them later. All pending discrepancies will be automatically routed to the respective planner for initiating further action. You can also enter any general information about the discrepancy.

The system updates the execution details and stores the name of the currently logged in user and current server date.
