Training Self Service - An Overview
The self-service component provides employees to request for training program. This option also helps the user to view the information on the training program and request for the same. It also provides the facility of recording the training attendance of the employees who has attended the training. Once the employees have attended the training program, they provide the feedback on the training program and also on the faculty who has conducted the training. The faculty, who had conducted the training can also provide the feedback on the training program and also on the employees who had attended the training.
The self-service option also facilitates the employees of the organization to view the training calendar of the organization, view the records of previous training sessions. It also facilitates the employees to view the status of the training request that has been placed by them.
Request for training by employees: The employees of the organization can view the training program and other details related to the training program. Employees would be able to request for a specific Course or Module or Program in the Training Calendar. Employee would also be able to request for training in standalone Courses.
The employees can delete the training request, if required.
Sponsoring the Employees for the Training Program: This facility allows the supervisor to sponsor their subordinates for the training program or course.
The supervisor can view the request details of the training program by the employees and then sponsors the subordinates for the training program. The supervisor can sponsor or reject the training request that has been made by the employees.
The supervisor can identify the competency gaps among the subordinates and sponsor them for the training program.
Record Training Attendance: This facility allows the employees to record their attendance for each of the course for which they have attended the training. This activity gives the facility of entering online attendance by the students themselves. This activity is for the trainees who are employees to mark their attendance. They have to choose a date and all the courses they have attended on that day would be displayed, for which the employee could mark, attendance.
Record Trainee Feedback: The facility allows the trainees to record the feedback regarding the training program and the faculty. This facility allows the user to enter their feedback as anonymous person.
Record Faculty Feedback: The facility allows the trainees to record the feedback regarding the training program and the trainees who have had attended the training program.
