Record Status after sponsorship

When you sponsor a nominated record, the system sets the status of the record to “Pending Acceptance” or “Sponsored” based on the value of the system parameter “Appraisal Sponsor needs Employee Acceptance”. This parameter determines whether the employee must accept the sponsorship accorded to him/her before registration to the course.

The status becomes “Pending Acceptance”, if this parameter is set to “Yes” in the “Set Training Parameters” activity in the “Training General Information” Component. This means that the employee acceptance of sponsorship is necessary.

Conversely, if the parameter is set to “No”, the nomination status becomes “Sponsored”. This indicates that consent of the employee for the sponsorship is not required and employee can be registered for the sponsored course directly.
