Acceptance of sponsorship is not necessary for sponsorship of nominations from  employees requests.

Process Parameters that Determine Sponsorship Acceptance

The following process parameters influence the training process.  You must specify values for these parameters in the Training General Information  component.

This parameter determines if employee acceptance is essential for sponsorship of nominations originating from Competency Gap.

If it is set to "Yes", the employee must accept or reject the sponsorship awarded to him/her. If the employee accepts the sponsorship, his/her training candidature will await registration, which is the next stage of the training process.

Alternatively, if this parameter is set to "No", it indicates that acceptance of employee is not necessary and hence the sponsored record automatically waits for registration.

This parameter determines if employee acceptance is essential for supervisor sponsored nominations.

If it is set to "Yes", the employee who is sponsored by the supervisor is required to either accept or reject the sponsorship. Only if the user accepts sponsorship, the sponsored record moves to registration.

If the parameter is set to "No", the system automatically submits the sponsored record for registration.

This parameter determines if employee acceptance is essential for sponsorships of appraisal based nominations.

If the parameter is set to "Yes", consent of employees is necessary before they are registered for a course.

Acceptance of employees is not required if the process parameter is set to "No" and the system registers employees for a  course automatically after they are sponsored.

Note that training administrators sponsor employees based on the feedback/inputs received from the appraiser of employees.

This parameter determines if employee acceptance of sponsorship is essential for TTP/ITP nominations.

If the parameter is set to "Yes", acceptance from employees will pave the way for registration. After employees accept sponsorship, they await registration.

If this parameter is set to "No", the sponsored nomination moves on to the registration stage without any intervention of the employee.
