Recording duty information
This section helps you to record all the personnel duty information.
Select the “Duty Info.” tab in the “Manage Flight Sheet” activity of the “Flight Sheet“ business component.
The “Duty Info.” tab page appears.
Note: You can modify details in this page only if the status of the Flight Sheet is other than "Confirmed", or "Cancelled" or “Returned”.
Note: Records that are received through EFB cannot be deleted.
Enter the following field in the “Record Duty Info.” group box:
Crew Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of crew for which you wish to record duty details. The system lists the values that are in “Active” status as defined for the entity "A/c Charter Service" and Category Type - "Crew Type" in the “Category” business component. The system displays “All” by default. |
Enter the following fields in the “Duty Info.” multiline:
From Date |
The date from which duty begins for the employee. Mandatory Ensure that the date entered in this field is equal to or later than the flight date From date and earlier than or equal to the flight date To Date. |
To Date |
The date up to which duty ends for the employee. Ensure the following:
Note that the system updates the To Date in this field if left blank. |
Crew Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the classification to which the crew belongs. Mandatory. If “All” is selected as the “Crew Type” in the “Record Duty Info.” header, the system lists the values that are in “Active” status as defined for the entity "A/c Charter Service" and Category Type - "Crew Type" in the “Category” business component. By default the system leaves this field blank if “All” is selected as the Crew Type in the header; else the system displays by default the selected value in the “Crew Type” of the “Record Duty Info.” header.. |
Emp. # |
The number identifying the employee as defined in the “HRMS” business component.. Mandatory. Ensure that the code entered in this field is a valid employee code number as defined in the “HRMS” business component. By default the system leaves this field blank. |
The system displays the following field in the “Duty Info.” multiline:
Emp. Name |
The name of the employee corresponding to the employee code. |
Enter the following fields in the “Duty Info.” multiline:
Duty Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of duty of the employee. Mandatory. If “All” is selected as the “Crew Type” in the “Record Duty Info.” header, the system lists all the values that are in “Active” mapping status as defined in the “Manage Duty Types activity of the “Flight Operations Setup” business component.. Note that if any value other than “All” is selected as the “Crew Type” in the “Record Duty Info.” group box, the system lists all the values that are in active mapping status as defined in the “Manage Duty Types” activity of the “Flight Operations Setup” business component in this field.. By default the system leaves this field blank. |
Note: Ensure that the Crew Type - Duty Type is a valid combination as defined in the “Flight Operations Setup” business component.
Unit |
The unit of measurement of for the duty as specified in the Duty Type Master which is Hours. By default the system displays “Hours” in this field. |
Value |
The hours for which the employee performed the duty. Ensure that the value entered in this field is a positive integer. |
Remarks |
Any comments or additional information pertaining to the duty details for the journey. |
Modification Comments |
Indicates that the user wishes to modify data that is received from EFB. Data entry in this field is mandatory if EFB data has been modified. |
Diff.? |
Indicates whether the employee has a difference in Flight Hours and Duty Hours which could be Yes or No. Example. |
Enter the following fields in the “Summary Info.” multiline:
Employee # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the employee against whom duty details is to be recorded. |
Note: Ensure that the From Date, To Date, Crew Type – Employee # - Duty Type and Unit is a unique combination.
The system displays the following field in the “Summary Info.” multiline:
Flight Hours |
The sum of flight hours in decimals from Journey Leg Level Parameter Info. Note that the sum of flight hours is displayed in decimals. |
Duty Hours |
The sum of duty hours as reported by the employee. |
Diff. (Hours) |
Indicates the difference between the Flight Hours and Duty Hours. |
Note: Ensure that atleast one record is selected in the multiline.
Select the “Save Duty Info.” pushbutton to save all the duty details and the modifications made against the Flight Sheet # generated.
To proceed, carryout the following:
Select the “Main Info.” tab to record all the main information against a Flight Sheet.
Select the “JL Usage Info.” tab to save all the Journey Log Usage details against a Flight Sheet.
Select the “Parameter Info” tab to save all the parameter details against a Flight Sheet.
Select the “No Flight Info.” tab to save all the information when the flight is not in use against a Flight Sheet.
Select the “A/C Activity Info.” tab to save all information relating to the aircraft-activity against the Flight Sheet.
Select the “Emp. Activity Info.” tab to save all the details of employee-activity against the Flight Sheet.
Select the “Crew Charges” tab page to save details of crew charges against the Flight Sheet.
Select the “Other Charges” tab page to save any other charges against the Flight Sheet.
Select the “Additional Info.” tab page to save any information pertaining to additional charges against a Flight Sheet.
