Amend Repair Order – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to  amend the repair order. After the authorization process, when the quotation or work scope requires a revision, the amendment is made. The amendment for material cost, terms and condition, TCD ,user defined details and for the discrepancies reported are allowed. 

After amendment the repair order will have to be authorized again. This activity allows you to view the repair order, before amendment.

Amend repair order details

You can amend the repair order details, after authorization, in this activity.

•  Select the repair order to be amended, in the “Select Repair Order” page.

•  Use the “Amend Quotes” page to amend all the details of the repair order.

Amend the terms and conditions of the repair order

You can amend the forward shipping information, spares shipped for repair, spares return details and other terms and conditions in the repair order.

• Select the repair order to be amended, in the “Select Repair Order” page.

• Go to “Amend Repair Order” page.

• Select the “Amend Terms and Conditions“ link in the “Amend Repair Order” page, to amend the terms and conditions.

Amend tax, charge and discount details

You can modify the TCD details such as the duty, sales tax, discount and freight charges. Tax and charge add to the basic value of the repair order while discount reduces the basic value.

• Use the “Amend TCD” page, to amend the tax, charge and discount details in the repair order.

Amend the shipping information

You can amend the shipping details of the component that is to be shipped to the repair shop.  The address, email, fax number of the repair shop gets displayed once the “Shipping Contact” is entered. You can furnish details such as the payment mode, the person who is liable for insurance amount

Amend the discrepancies reported

You can analyse and amend the problems detected in the repair shop for a part, which could be full confirmed or partially confirmed or no fault.
