The page allows you to view the details of cost incurred for every repair that is carried out by the repair shop. Tell me more

The “View Repair Cost History” page appears.

Part #

The number identifying the part (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory.

 

Help facility available.

The system displays the following in the “Quotation Info” group box:

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Repair Shop #

The number identifying the shop where the repair of the component is carried out (Alphanumeric, 45).

The system displays the following in the “Quotation Info” group box:

Repair Shop

The name of the Repair Shop.

RO Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of repair order as “Normal” or “Exchange”.

The system leaves the field blank by default.

Priority

Use the drop-down list box to select the priority of the repair order. The system lists the active priorities defined in the “Maintain Priority Codes” of the “Logistics Common Master” business component.

RO Date From / To

The date from which the repair order is to be viewed. The date till which the repair order is to be viewed whose date must be later than or equal to the date entered in the “RO Date From” field

RO Date To

The date till which repair order is to be viewed. This date must be later than or equal to the date entered in the “RO Date From” field.

Note: The system retrieves the repair orders with the latest amendment number and displays the details in the descending order of the repair order number and repair order date.

The system displays the following in the “Quotation History“ multiline:

Repair Shop #

The number identifying the shop where the repair of the component is carried out.

Repair Shop

The name of the repair shop

Repair Order #

The repair order number for which the details are displayed.

RO Date

The date on which the repair order was raised.

Part #

The number identifying the part.

Total Cost

The total cost of the repair to be viewed. The total cost is arrived by summing up the total labor cost, total material cost and miscellaneous cost.

Repair Qty

The quantity of parts for repair.

Repair Cost

The repair cost for the part.

Exchange Cost

The exchange cost for the part sent for repair with reference to a PBH/PBH-Exchange purchase order.

BER Cost

The cost incurred in evaluating component,

Salvage Value

The estimated scrap value of the component/part.

Material Cost

The total material cost charged by the shop for a repair.

Labor Cost

The total labor cost charged by the shop for a repair.

Misc. Cost

The miscellaneous cost charged by the shop for repair.

Serial #

The number identifying the serial number of the part.

Lot #

The lot number of the part.

Mfr. Serial #

The serial number identifying the component given by the manufacturer.

Mfr. Lot #

A unique number identifying the lot number issued by the manufacturer.

TAT (Days)

The number of days taken to repair the part.

Turn Time = Latest Receipt Date Time of part for a repair order – Earliest Issue Date Time of part for the same repair order.

Under Warranty?

Viewing the repair cost history – An overview

View Repair Order - A summary of the activity

The page allows you to view the details of cost incurred for every repair that is carried out by the repair shop. The cost such as labour, material and miscellaneous enables to arrive at the total cost charged for the repair.  Based on the part number, repair shop, repair priority and repair order type, the quotation details such as labour cost, material cost, miscellaneous cost and BER are displayed in the multiline.

The repair shop quotes the total cost of the repair, by summing up the total labour cost, material cost and miscellaneous cost incurred.
