Rehire: Through this activity, you can initiate the rehire process. Rehire refers to filling of vacant positions in the organization, by hiring employees who were in the service of the organization, but have been separated.
A need may arise in the organization for rehiring separated employees for reasons such as familiarity with organizational procedures, and proven performance. You can initiate the rehire process only for regular employees who were certified as eligible for rehire. An employee’s eligibility for rehire is recorded at the time of effecting his/her separation. You can view the records of separated employees and ascertain the eligibility for rehire of prospective separated employees. However, the eligibility for rehire status serves more as a reference norm than as a condition for rehire.
To initiate the rehire process specify,
The date of rehire and the reason for rehire. The rehire reasons are user-defined values like ‘Candidates Experience’ using the Quick Codes component.
The unique codes of the position, job or department for which the separated employee is being rehired.

Job Attributes: The job attributes provide the complete profile of the job for which the employee is being rehired. The system displays the description of the job and job level and the job family to which the job belongs based on the specified job code.
