Select the help icon beside the “Hierarchy Chain Code” field.
The “Help on Hierarchy” page appears.
The system displays the following field at the top right of the page.

Hierarchies Unit |
The organization unit where the hierarchies component is deployed to process hierarchies activities for the employment units interacting with it. The system displays the hierarchies unit applicable to the login employment unit. |

Employment Unit |
The name of the login employment unit. |
A blank multiline appears, containing the following fields: “Hierarchy Chain Code”, “Hierarchy Chain Description”, “Hierarchy Chain Details” and a “Select” check box.
Specify the following detail.

Hierarchy Short Description |
From the drop-down list box, select the short description of the required hierarchy. The system displays the hierarchy chain codes that match the selected hierarchy short description in the multiline. You can select the required hierarchy chain code from the displayed records. |
Click on the “Select” checkbox corresponding to the required hierarchy chain code record after viewing the details displayed in the corresponding fields.
After selecting the required hierarchy chain code record from the multiline, select the “OK” pushbutton.
The “Authorize Employee Rehire” page reappears.
The selected hierarchy chain code is displayed in the corresponding field.
