Though this activity, you can select an applicant for a position or job for which the hire request has been made. Applicant selection is the concluding stage of the hire process. The HR user, having the necessary data level security permissions can assess the competence of an applicant for a job and decide if the applicant should be selected, rejected or waitlisted. To enable the HR user to take an informed decision with regard to which applicants are more competent for the job and hence should be selected and which of them should be either rejected or waitlisted, the system facilitates viewing information on the various competence levels and eligibility criteria of each applicant. This information helps in making the final decision in applicant selection.

You can use this activity to select applicants who have been short listed in any of the evaluation exercises or certified for “Quick Hire” through the “Screen Resume” component. The HR user can view the following aspects of information relating to the applicant before deciding on selecting, rejecting or wait listing the applicant:

After a comprehensive analysis of all the relevant information, the HR user can decide if an applicant should be selected, rejected or waitlisted.
