Through this activity, you can authorize an applicant selected for a position or job for which the hire request has been made. Applicant selection is the concluding stage of the hire process. The HR user, having the necessary data level security permissions can assess the competence of an applicant for a job and decide if the applicant should be selected, rejected or waitlisted. To enable the HR user to take an informed decision with regard to which applicants are more competent for the job and hence should be selected and which of them should be either rejected or waitlisted, the system facilitates viewing information on the various competence levels and eligibility criteria of each applicant. This information helps in making the final decision in applicant selection.
The authorizer can view the following aspects of information relating to the applicant before deciding on authorizing or rejecting the applicants selected, rejected or wait listed.
The overall ratings scored by the applicant in the selection process. The overall ratings sum up the scores of the applicant in the various stages and exercises of the evaluation process and his/her scores in the competencies relevant for the job.
The stage and exercise wise ratings of the applicant.
The competency and competency element wise ratings of the applicant.
The salary details of the applicant.
The resume of the applicant.

The complete details of the vacancy for which the applicants are being selected.
The vacancy allocation details.
After a comprehensive analysis of all the relevant information, the HR user can decide if an applicant should be selected, rejected or waitlisted.
