This page, you can reverse the work order. You can select the “closed” work order. Tell me more.

The “Select Work Order” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields must be entered. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Visit Package #

The visit package number for which the work order details must be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using “*” character. The system displays all the work orders that are associated to the visit package whose number are similar to the number entered here.

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number identifying the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using “*” character. The system displays all the work orders that refer to the aircraft whose registration numbers are similar to the number entered here.

Work Order #

The number identifying the work order to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using “*” character. The system displays the work orders whose numbers are similar to the number specified here.

Job Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the job type, which could be “Aircraft”, “On-Wing” or “Component Removal”. The system retrieves the work orders that are associated to the job type selected here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve the work orders irrespective of the job type. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Work Center #

Use the drop-down list box to select the work center for which the work order details are to be retrieved. The system retrieves the work orders that are associated to the work center selected here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve the work order details irrespective of the work center. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Adv. Search ID

Use the drop-down list box to select the search ID based on which the work order details must be retrieved. The system retrieves the work orders based on the filter criteria entered for the search ID. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve the work orders irrespective of the search ID’s.

Note: For the visit package, which is in “Released” or “Partially Released” status, the system retrieves the work orders that are in “Closed” status.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” group box based on the filter criteria specified:

Visit Package #

The visit package associated to the work order.

Aircraft Reg #

The aircraft for which the visit package is applicable.

Work Order #

The number identifying the work order to be reversed.

Work Order Description

The textual description of the work order.

Job Type

The type of the job, which could be “Aircraft”, “On-Wing” or “Component Removal”.

Order Type

The type of the work order.

WO Category

The category to which the work order belongs.

Sch End. Date

The planned date on which the work order has to be completed.

Actual End Date

The actual date on which the work order was completed.

Work Center #

The work center associated to the work order.

Work Center Description

The textual description of the work center.

Customer #

The number identifying the customer, who owns the aircraft.

 

Customer Name

The name of the customer owning the aircraft.

 

 

 

 

 

Note: The "Customer #" and "Customer Name" fields are applicable only when the aircraft is not self-owned and the customer details are recorded in the system.

Note: At least one work order must be selected in the multiline.

On reversing the work order, the system sets the work order to “Reversed” status.

Note: The closed status of the work order cannot be changed to 'Reversed' once the Certificate of Maintenance is issued for the visit package.

Reverse work order - A summary of the activity

In this page, you can reverse the work order. You can select the “closed” work order for the visit packages that are in “Released” or “Partially Released” status. You can search for the work order to be “reversed” by specifying the filter criteria such as visit package, aircraft registration number, work order, job type, work center and the advanced search ID.

The details of the selected work order such as the visit package associated to the work order, aircraft for which the visit package is applicable, work order number, its description, job type, type and the category of the work order are displayed. The schedule end date and actual end date of the work order, work center associated to the work order and its description are also displayed.
