Edit Stock Transfer Receipt – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to modify the details of the selected stock transfer receipt. You can modify the details of the receipt in the “Draft” or the “Fresh” status. If the modified receipt is in the “Draft” status, you can change the status of the receipt to “Fresh”, after all the modifications have been done.

Modify the details of transfer receipts

You are allowed to select and modify all the details pertaining to transfer receipt. You are allowed to change the status of the transfer receipt from “Draft” to “Fresh”, so that you can send the stock transfer receipt for confirmation. On confirmation you can change the status to “Confirmed”.

• Use the “Select Stock Transfer  Receipt” page, to search for and select a receipt to modify its details.

• Use the “Edit Stock Transfer Receipt” page, to modify the details of the selected transfer receipt.

Specify the Storage Details of transfer receipts

You can specify a suitable warehouse, zone or bin for a part received.   You can enter a suitable serial number and lot number for a received part. This number enables you to identify the warehouse used during the stock transfer transaction.

• Use the “Edit Storage Details” page to allow the part in the warehouse, the zone or the bin selected.

• Use the “Edit Serial #/Lot # Details” page to add part serial number and lot number to the part.

Specify Shipping details

You can ship the stock from one location to the other during stock transfer.

• Use the “Edit Shipping Details” page to enter the shipping information.
