What you can do in this activity

This activity helps you to report the consumption details of items utilized for the execution of a component work order or a task. You can update parts consumption details either at the component work order level or for specific tasks within a component work order.

The "Select Component Work Order" page allows you to select the component work order for which you need to update the part consumption details. The "Report Parts Consumption Information" page allows you to update the parts consumption for a task or component work order. In the “Report Component Consumption Information” page you can update component consumption for parts of type “component” and fitment details for serial number, such as the position code and next higher assemble details where the component was fitted. The “Report Additional Parts Usage” page allows you to update the additional parts, which are not issued against the CWO/Task, but used for a task or component work order.

Report parts consumption for a component work order or task

You can specify the parts consumed for a task or component work order. You can specify the task to retrieve the part details for the task and then update the part consumption.

4 Select the component work order for which part consumption details must be reported, in the “Select Component Work Order” page.

4 Use the “Report Parts Consumption Information” page to report the parts consumed for the CWO tasks or the component work order.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Report component consumption for a component work order or task

You can report the component consumption details, such as position code of the serial number next higher assemble details and installation date and time, for “part s of type “component”.

4 Select the component work order for which component consumption details must be reported, in the “Select Component Work Order” page.

Update additional parts used for a task

You can report the additional parts that are used for the specified task. Additional parts are those that have not been issued against the component work order or task, which may have been issued in bulk to the work center. You can specify the part, part type used quantity and the total cost involved for the task.

4 Select the component work order for which additional part consumption details must be reported, in the “Select Component Work Order” page.

4 Use the “Report Additional Parts Usage” page to report the additional parts used for the specified task or component work order.
