Selecting work center for viewing associated attributes
This page allows you to select a work center for viewing associated attributes. Tell me more.
Select the “View Work Center Attributes” link under the “Work Center” business component.
The “Select Work Center” page appears.
Enter the following fields as the filter criteria to search for the work center, for which you wish to view the attributes. Data entry in these fields is optional:
Work Center #

The work center whose attributes you wish to view (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter number in full or specify it partially using the "*" character. The system retrieves all the work center numbers that are similar to the work center number entered here. |
Exe. Org Unit # |
Use the drop down list box to select the organizational unit to which the work center is associated. Leave the field blank to retrieve all work centers irrespective of the organizational unit. The system displays the organizational unit you have logged into by default. |
Work Center Description |
The textual description of the work center (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description of the work center in full or specify it partially using the "*" character. The system retrieves all the work centers whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. |
Work Center Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the quick code to which the work center was associated, in the “Create Work Center” activity. The system lists all the quick codes of type “Work center category” and of status “Active”. Leave the field blank to retrieve all work centers irrespective of the quick code association, in the multiline. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Work Center Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the work center to be retrieved. The work center could be of type “Hangar”, “Bay”, “Shop”, “Line” or “Others”. The system retrieves the work centers of type selected here. Leave this field blank, if you wish to retrieve work centers irrespective of the work center type. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline based on the filter criteria entered:
Note: The system retrieves all the work centers which are of Work Center Class “Execution”.

The number identifying the work center. |

The type to which the work center belongs which could be “Hangar”, “Bay”, "Shop", "Line" or “Others”. |
Work Center Category |
The quick code to which the work center was associated in the “Create Work Center” activity. The system leaves the field blank if the work center is not associated to any quick code. |
Primary Work Center # |
The number identifying the parent work center, as specified in the “Maintain Work Center Hierarchy” activity. This field appears blank if the work center is at level “0” in the hierarchy. |
Level # |
The level at which the work center is associated in the hierarchy, as defined in the “Maintain Work Center Hierarchy” activity. |
Number Of Employees |
The number of employees associated to the work center. |
Model Effectivity |
The system displays either “All” or “Restricted” depending on the association of aircraft models to the work center. |

The system displays either “All” or “Restricted” depending on the association of components to the work center. |

The organizational unit to which the work center is associated. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the work center for which you wish to view the associated attribute details.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “View Associated Facilities” link at the bottom of the page to view the facilities associated to the work center.
Select the “View Associated Employees” link at the bottom of the page to view the employees associated to the work center.
Select the “View Aircraft Model Capability” link at the bottom of the page to view the aircraft models associated to the work center.
Select the “View Component Capability” link at the bottom of the page to view the components associated to the work center.
Select the “View Associated Skills” link at the bottom of the page to view the skills associated to the work center.
Select the “View Shared Employees” link at the bottom of the page to view the shared employee details.
Select the “View Shared Facilities” link at the bottom of the page to view the shared facility details.
Select the “View Exe. Org Unit Level Work Center Details” link at the bottom of the page to view the execution organizational unit level work center details.
Select the “View Associated Warehouses” link at the bottom of the page to view the details of the warehouses associated to the work center.
Select the “View Associated Shifts to Work Center” link at the bottom of the page to view the shift details associated to the work center.
Selecting work center for viewing associated attributes – An overview
In this page, you can select the work center for which you wish to view the attributes. You can select the work center by carrying out a search based on the organizational unit, work center number, parent work center number, work center category, work center type and work center description. The details of the work center, such as work center number, description, type, category, parent work center number, level number and the number of employees associated to it are displayed in the multiline. The system also indicates whether models and components have been associated to the work center and displays the organizational unit to which the work center is associated, in the multiline. You can select the work center in the multiline for which you wish to view the associated attribute details.
