Viewing a work center's capable components

This page allows you to view the details of the components associated to work center. Tell me more.

Select the “View Component Capability” link at the bottom of the “Select Work Center” page.

The “View Component Capability Information” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Work Center Details” group box:

Exe. Org Unit #	The organizational unit to which the selected work center is associated.
Work Center #	The selected work center for which you wish to view the associated components.
Work Center Description	The textual description of the work center.
Work Center Type	The type of the work center, which could be “Hangar”, “Bay”, "Shop", "Line" or “Others”.
Component Effectivity Basis	Indicates whether part number or part group is associated to the work center.

The system displays the details of the components that are associated to the work center in the multiline:

Part # / Group	The number identifying the component part.
Description	The textual description of the part group.
Maintenance Type Effectivity	The system displays either “All” or “Restricted” depending on the association of work units to the component part.
	All - if you have not associated work units to the component, which indicates that all work units of the component can be served in the work center.
	Restricted - if you have identified the work units and associated them to the component, which indicates that only those associated work units, can be served in the work center.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select a component for which you wish to view the work unit details.

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “View Work Unit Capability” link at the bottom of the page to view the details of the work units.
