Defining price factor breakups
Select the “Price Factor Details” tab in the “Manage Part Pricelist” activity in the “Part Pricelist” business component.
Enter the following fields in the “Pricing Profile” tab:
Pricing Element |
The system lists the following options if the Pricing Profile is defined for that Pricing Element:
By default the system leaves this field blank. |
Line Detail |
Use the drop-down list box to select the price factor at line level based on the “Pricing Element” selected. The system lists all the attributes defined against the pricing element in the “Factored Pricing” tab page. Note that the system displays this field only if “Line Level” is selected as the “Factor Details at” in the “Other Pricing Details” group box. By default the system leaves this field blank if “Document Level” is specified as the “Factor Details At”. By default the system leaves this field blank. |
The system displays the following in the "Breakup Details" group box:
Pricing Element |
The pricing element for which price is being defined after considering the attributes assigned in the pricing profile Note that the system displays this field only if “Line Level” is selected as the “Factor Details at” in the “Other Pricing Details” group box. |
Line Detail |
Indicates the price factor is at line level. Note that the system displays this field only if “Line Level” is selected as the “Factor Details at” in the “Other Pricing Details” group box. |
Factor Type |
The type of price factor. |
Enter the following fields in the “Breakup details” group box:
Factor value |
The value of the price factor in terms of percentage |
Applied On |
Use the drop-down list box to select the basis on which price factor is applied. The system lists the following options: Base Rate Total Value |
Enter the following fields in the “Breakup details” group box:
Effective price factor |
The actual price factor that is effective for the part price Calculation of Effective Price Factor
The Factor Value
(Factor value) * ( 1+ Sum of the Effective price factors computed till that instant) |
To proceed, carryout the following:
Select the “Pricing Profile” tab to select attributes for each pricing element based on which factored pricing is defined.
Select the “Factored Pricing” tab to define the price factor at each pricing element level.
Select the “Ref. Pricelist Priority” tab to define priority for alternate pricelist.
Select the “Max Price – Appl. Pricelists” tab to capture Ref. Catalogue IDs and its Price Factors.
Note: This tab appears only if the ‘Factored on’ is set as “Price List with Max Price” in the “Factored Pricing” tab.
Select the "Slab Definitions" tab to define the price factor and Base Adj. factor based on the slab against a pricing line.
Select the “Direct Pricing” tab to define prices directly.
