Timesheet Administration– An overview

The "Time Sheet Administration" component consists of the following key activities:

The "Record Time sheet" activity enables you to record the number of work hours put in for each project, for each day for an employee. This project-wise, date-wise information can be entered in bulk or on a daily basis.

The "Record Overtime Claims-Direct Entry" activity allows you to submit overtime claims for authorization on behalf of those employees whose time sheets have not been submitted using the “Record Time Sheet” Activity.

The "Record Overtime Claims -Time Sheet Based" activity allows an authorizer to submit the overtime claims on behalf of a specified employee for authorization. Overtime is deduced by the system automatically when the hours of work on a single day are more than the shift hours. This occurs when the employee time sheet is submitted using the “Record Time Sheet “activity prior to the “Record Overtime Claims” activity.

The "Consolidated Time Sheet Adjustments" activity allows you to consolidate the time overhead on a project for a specified year-month combination. In order to consolidate, you must make adjustments by the hours spent on the various stages of the project.

The "Default Time Sheet" activity allows  you to record time sheets for employees who have not submitted their time sheets using the activity; "Record Time Sheet – Employee Self Service" and who have been assigned specific projects. You can record time sheets for a specified period that does not exceed a month. The system obtains time sheet data from the Project Resource Allocation component.

This component also allows the authorizer to authorize the time sheet or overtime claims in the respective authorization screens .Additionally, you can view the time sheet and overtime claim details in the  corresponding view screens.
