View Payset – Pay element mapping - A summary of the activity
Through this activity, you can view the mapping details of each pay element mapped to a selected payset. Specific details can also be viewed for recurring and non-recurring pay elements.
“View Payset–Pay Element Mapping” Page Details: Using this page, you can view the following details of each pay element that is mapped to the selected payset
The priority of the pay element within the payset, for payroll processing.
The range of process periods for which the payset-pay element mapping will be effective.
The attributes of the selected pay element applicable for this payset.
Whether the payment of the pay element is attendance-driven.
If the payment is attendance-driven and the basis of payment is calendar-based, you can view the pay element amount specified for the process period. If the payment is attendance-driven and the basis of payment is period unit-based, you can view the amount specified for a given number of period units.
Note: You can view the actual value of the pay element only in the “Recurring Pay Element” or “Non-Recurring Pay Element” page
The type of rounding off applicable to the pay element. This could be “Floor”, “Ceiling”, “Actual” or “Nearest”.
Whether the mapping is available to various organizational units within the organization unit group.
Through this page, you can also
Modify the details of the payset- pay element mapping.
Mark the record for deletion. This means that you specify that the record be to be deleted.
“Recurring Pay Element” Page Details: In this page, you can view the key attributes of a recurring pay element, namely
The value of the pay element: This could be a flat amount, for example $4000. Alternatively, it could be a rule stored in the Stored Procedure Builder. Based on this rule, the system calculates the pay element value.
The frequency at which a pay element will recur: The number of times the pay element must be processed, within a process period.
Validity: Through this page, you can view the range of the process periods for which the pay element must be effective.
Whether a history of modifications must be maintained
Whether a history of modifications is being maintained: You can also find out whether the system currently maintains a history of the modifications. If so, you can view the successive modifications. Note that the history is maintained from the specific date that is specified in the “Map Payset-Pay Element” activity.
“Non-recurring Pay Element” Page Details: You can view the key details of a non-recurring pay element, which are:
Value: This could be a flat amount, for example $4000. Alternatively, it could be a rule stored in the Stored Procedure Builder. Based on this rule, the system calculates the pay element value.
Validity: You can view the following details about the non-recurring pay element:
The process period from which the pay element is effective.
Whether the modified pay element details are applicable to the process periods that are already processed.
