Selecting the payset whose pay element mapping you can view
Select “View Payset – Pay Element Mapping” hyperlink from the left pane.
The “Select Payset To View Pay Element Mapping ” page appears.
The system displays the following field.

From the “Payroll Definition Unit” drop-down list box, select the payroll definition unit p for which you require to view pay element-mapping details. The drop-down list box displays all the organization units where you have permission to view the payset – payroll mapping. Tell me more
All the payrolls that are mapped to the selected payroll definition unit are listed in the “Payroll Description” drop-down list box.
To select through Search Criteria
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the payset code or the payset description. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the payset code or description contain. Search based on wild card characters is also supported.
In the “ Search Criteria” group box, enter the following details.
Payroll Description |
From the drop-down list box, select the payroll under which the payset is applicable. |
Payset Code |
To view all payset codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these payset codes. |
Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example “PYST*, will search for those payset codes that start with PYST. Other examples are *PYST, P*ST and P*S* | |
Payset Description |
To view all payset descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these paysets. |
Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example PYSETEX*, will search for those pay element descriptions that starts with PYSETEX | |
Payset Long Description |
To view payset records whose descriptions contain specific characters, type in the starting letter/s of these characters or any combination with wild cards. For example, if “EXEC” is searched for, the system displays all the payset record descriptions starting with or containing the characters “EXEC”. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton.
A list of payset records satisfying the search criteria will be displayed.
Note: If only one search
criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records that satisfy
this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch
the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select
the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the payset records
that are applicable to the selected payset definition unit.
To select a record, click the check box beside the record.
Select “View Payset -Pay Element Mapping” hyperlink at the bottom of the page. Alternatively you can select hyperlinked pay element description.
