View Pay Element – A summary of the activity

Pay Elements are the various atomic components of a pay structure, combinations of which form the pay structures. Typical pay elements include Basic Salary, Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance and Statutory Deductions. The purpose of different pay elements is to compute pay in a measurable way, for various cadres in the company. This information is later taken into account by the system, to calculate the employees’ consolidated salary.
For any given pay element that you select, you can view
The description and alias of the pay element
The classification of the pay element record
The attributes of the pay element
The pay element records marked for deletion
Attributes modifiable at pay set mapping
You can also view the most recent mapping/ unmapping of the pay element to various organization units.
View Record in Chosen Language: You can also view the details of the pay element in any of the available languages. These languages must have been specified during the installation of the application.

What you can do in this activity
View pay element – Org. Unit Mapping
You can view the various attributes defined for a pay element.
Use the “Select Pay Element for Viewing” to select the pay element for which you want to view the details.
Select the “View Pay Element” page to view the details of the pay element.
Select the "View Accumulator" page to view the list of accumulators mapped to the selected pay element.
Select the "View Pay Element Attributes" page to view the various attributes mapped to the pay element.
View pay element – Org. Unit mapping
You can also view the mapping of the pay element to various organization units.
Select the pay element for which you want to view the mapping to various organization units in the “Select Pay Element for Viewing”
Select the “View Pay Element” details to view the mapping of various organization units to the selected pay element.
