Viewing an accumulator
Select the “View Pay Element” activity from the left pane.
The “Select Pay Element for Viewing” activity page appears.
Select a pay element whose pay element attributes are to be viewed by selecting the corresponding hyprelinked pay element code.
The "View Pay Element" page appears displaying the details of the pay element. To view the various accumulators mapped to the pay element, select the “View Accumulator” link at the bottom of the page.
The “View Accumulator” page appears.
The system displays the following.
Pay Element Definition Unit |
The pay element definition unit selected in the previous page. |
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the user. Tell me more |
Pay Element Code |
The code of the pay element entered in the previous page. |
Pay Element Description |
The description of the pay element entered in the previous page. |
Alias |
A unique alias of the pay element entered in the previous page. |
The system will display the various accumulator(s) mapped to the pay element following in the multiline.
Accumulator |
The accumulator mapped to the pay elment. |
Relational Operator |
The system will display one of the two values namely "Add" or "Subtract". “Add” indicates that the value of the pay element is added to the accumulator. “Subtract” indicates the value of the pay element deducted from the accumulator. |
One among the following will be checked to indicate the nature of the accumulator.
Monthly |
This indicates that the mapping of the pay element to the accumulator is of monthly in nature i.e. after payroll processing, the value of the pay element will be added to the accumulator monthly. |
Quarterly |
This indicates that the mapping of the pay element to the accumulator is of quarterly in nature i.e. after payroll processing, the value of the pay element will be added to the accumulator after every three consecutive months of the tax year. |
Yearly |
This indicates that the mapping of the pay element to the accumulator is of yearly in nature. Yearly indicates that after payroll processing, the value of the pay element will be added to the accumulator yearly. |
Till Date |
This indicates that the mapping of the pay element to the accumulator is of accumulative in nature. It means that after payroll processing, the value of the pay element will be added to the accumulator for every process period. |
In the "% of Pay Element Value" column the following value will be displayed.
% Of Pay Element Value |
The percentage of pay element value indicating the value specified will be either added or deducted to the accumulator value. |
Select the "Cancel" pushbutton in the web page toolbar to return to the previous page.
