Viewing pay element attributes

Select the “View Pay Element” activity from the left pane.
The “Select Pay Element for Viewing” activity page appears.
Select a pay element whose pay element attributes are to be viewed by selecting the corresponding hyprelinked pay element code.
The "View Pay Element" page appears displaying the details of the pay element. To view its pay element attributes select the “Pay Element Attributes” link at the bottom of the page.
The “Pay Element Attributes” page appears.
The system displays the following.

Pay Element Definition Unit |
The pay element definition unit selected in the previous page. |

Date Format |
The date format applicable to the user. Tell me more |

Pay Element Code |
The code of the pay element entered in the previous page. |
|
Pay Element Description |
The description of the pay element entered in the previous page. |
|
Alias |
A unique alias of the pay element entered in the previous page. |
In the "Withholding Attributes" group box, the system will display the details specified at the time of defining a pay element.

Imputed Income |
The system will display with "Yes" value indicating that the pay element value is added to the taxable income. |
|
Withholding |
"Yes" value is displayed indicating the pay element value is deducted as tax. |
|
PreTax |
"Yes" value indicates that the pay element value will be deducted from the taxable income. Example is 401(k) of U.S. deductions |

Withholding Method |
The system will display the method based on which the pay element value is computed. One of the following values namely “Annualized”. “Cumulative” and “Supplemental”. |
In the "FLSA" group box, the system will display the details specified at the time of defining a pay element.

FLSA Hour |
The system will display with "Yes" value indicating that the hours of the pay element include under FLSA. |
|
FLSA Amount |
"Yes" value is displayed indicating the pay element value is computed on the basis of FLSA amount. |
