What you can do in this activity

Through this activity, you can view the complete evaluation details of an applicant’s performance in an exercise. To view applicant evaluation, you are to first select the exercise for which you want to view the applicant’s performance. You can view the exercise as well as the competency ratings for an applicant who has undertaken the selected exercise.

 For viewing applicant evaluation, you are to indicate if the rating is being performed by an internal or external assessor. The system lists the details of the applicants with regard to whom the internal/external assessor has data level security permissions to assess.

Viewing Exercise Rating: The system fetches the names of the applicants who have undertaken the selected exercise and also their numeric or grade wise performance ratings in the exercise,  whether the applicant’s evaluation must be performed on numeric ratings or rating by grade, can be set in the system parameters during installation. In the numeric ratings option, the maximum numeric value can be set in the system parameters based on which the assessor can specify a value to rate the employee. In the rating by grade option, the various grades:  “Excellent”, “Good”, “Average” etc., are defined in the system parameters. The assessor can assign a grade to the employee. A corresponding numeric range can be set in the system parameters for each grade value. For example, if the numeric rating is above 80 for a maximum value of 100, the grade assigned could be “Excellent”, if the numeric rating is between 60 and 80, the grade assigned could be “Good” and for numeric ratings below 60, the grade assigned could be “Average” etc.

You can also view the remarks and additional comments, if any, specified by the assessor with regard to the applicant’s performance in the selected exercise.

Viewing Competency Rating: You can also view ratings scored by the applicant in the competencies pertaining to the selected exercise. The system lists the competencies applicable to the selected exercise. You can view the applicant’s score in the competencies in numeric or rating by grade terms and also the remarks. Based on the numeric or grade wise ratings specified, the system computes and displays the overall exercise ratings. 

The system also facilitates viewing the ratings of the applicant at the competency element level. This enables computing the applicant’s performance in a particular competency. To view competency ratings, you are to select the required competency. The system displays the competency classes and elements of which the selected competency consists of and also the weightage in percentage assigned to each competency element with respect to the other competency elements comprising the selected competency. You can view the numeric rating value or the grade scored by the applicant in each competency element. The system also displays the overall competency ratings of the applicant based on the individual scores in each competency element.

Viewing Resume and Vacancy Details: Apart from viewing exercise and competency ratings, you can view the applicant’s resume and also the details pertaining to the vacancy for which the applicant has undergone the exercise.
