Incoming Flight Details

A/C Maint. Exe. Basis

Use the drop-down list box to select the Aircraft maintenance execution basis as “Non Journey Log”, “JL - Consolidated” or “JL - Leg Level”.  By default, the system displays the value saved against the Package Type in the “Define Process Entities” activity of the “Common Masters” business component.

Journey Log #

The number identifying the incoming journey log. (Alphanumeric, 40). Ensure that the journey log number entered is valid and refers to a journey log that is in “Approved” status.

Data entry in this field is mandatory, if the A/C Maint. Exe. Basis is set as “JL - consolidated” or “JL - Leg Level”.

The journey log number entered here can be modified only if the AME # is in “Draft”, “Fresh”, “Planned” or “In-progress” status.

Starting Station

The station from which the journey begins. (Alphanumeric, 30).

Help facility available.

Flight # / Leg #

The number identifying the flight and the leg for which the Aircraft maintenance execution ref. # is created. (Alphanumeric, 30). Enter the leg number in the box provided alongside. The leg number must be a positive integer. Ensure that the Flight # - Leg # combination entered is valid for the Journey Log # specified.

Help facility available.

Line #

The number identifying the line of the flight. (Integer).

Gate #

The number identifying the gate. (Alphanumeric, 40).

Note: The system does not allow you to modify or delete the Journey Log # / Flight # / Leg # / Line # combination associated to the AME, if any action has been explicitly carried out on any of PIREP type discrepancies associated with the JL # / Flight # / Leg # / Line # combination.

If the “A/C Maint. Exe. Basis” is set as “JL - Leg Level”, and Journey Log #, Line # and Aircraft Reg # are entered, the system ensures that the Journey Log # / Flight # / Leg # combination or Journey Log # / Line # combination for the Aircraft Reg # is not referred in any AME.

  • Flight # / Leg # associated with the Journey Log entered is next to the Flight # /Leg # of the incoming Journey Log.
