Quality Audit - A component overview
The “Quality Audit” component under the Audit management BPC facilitates the Quality Audit department to develop and maintain processes that promote continuous compliance with regulatory requirements. This is achieved by the following tasks
Maintaining audit schedules
Maintaining root causes information for non-conformities
Tracking audits from initiation to closure
Recording results of audit
Recording corrective and preventive action
Recording audit references
Initiating follow-up audits for unresolved non-conformities
Maintaining of resolution history of non-conformities
This component provides for Scheduled, Adhoc and Direct audits. Associated and reference documents can be attached with the audit records for future use.
QA managers can maintain audit schedules and trace the progress of the audits. Similarly, auditors can record the audit findings, best practices as well as the resolution of the NCs.
