Set Options – A summary of the activity

In this activity, you can set / reset the following fundamental attributes for quality audits,

• The chief auditor

• The default numbering type for Adhoc reports

• The default numbering type for Direct reports

• The normal duration for implementing corrective action, in days.

• Whether confirmation is required for approval of audit report

• Whether approval is required to close the audit report

• Whether approval of CAPA  is required to

• Whether modifying the root cause during CAPA  recording is allowed

• Whether modifying the root cause during processing NC/Reports is allowed

• Whether automatic closure of the report is carried out on closure of all NCs.

• Whether closure of NC during CAPA is allowed for Adhoc, Direct and Scheduled reports

You can also specify whether a reference element/document is mandatory for an audit  and the audit guidelines for each of the audit category.

As the above-mentioned parameters are vital for the audit process, this activity must be used at the onset of audit operations.
