Enter PI Count Results – A summary of the activity
This activity allows you to enter the count results for the PI plan.
Note: You can enter the PI count results for only those PI Plans, for which the generated tags are in “Generated” or “Regenerated” or “Partially Counted” status
You can select the physical inventory plan for which you need to enter the count results. You can also record new parts and their stock status for a storage location. You can modify details such as the serial and lot numbers of the part.

Enter the count and recount results
You can enter the count and recount results of the parts, which are in the “Confirmed”, “Partially Counted”, “Pending Recount” or “Partially Recounted” status.
Use the “Select Physical Inventory Plan” page, to select the PI plan for which the count results must be recorded.
Use the “Enter Phy. Inventory Count Results” page, to enter the count results for the PI plan.
Use the “Enter Physical Inventory Recount Results” page, to enter the recount results for the PI plan.
Modify serial and lot details of the part
During physical inventory counting, you may notice some discrepancies between the part serial and lot numbers maintained in the system and the part serial and lot numbers that are physically stored in the warehouse location. Hence, a need arises to modify the serial and lot numbers of the part maintained in the system.
If required, you can modify the serial and lot numbers of the part even if there is no discrepancy in the count quantity, but if there is a difference in serial or lot number.
You can record the serial and lot numbers for new parts, as well.
Go to the “Enter Phy. Inventory Count Results” or “Enter Physical Inventory Recount Results” page.
Use the “Record Serial # & Lot # Information” page, to modify the serial and lot numbers of the part.
Enter new part/stock status details
During physical inventory counting, you may come across a part, which is not already attached to a storage location, but belongs to some other storage area as per system records. You can add this part to the storage location and enter the part details such as the lot and serial numbers, stock status, part condition, quantity, warehouse, zone and the bin to which the part belongs now. You can also assign a user-defined stock status to the part.
Go to the “Enter Phy. Inventory Count Results” page.
Use the “Record New Parts/ Stock Status” page, to enter the details of the new part.
You can regenerate the tags.
Go to the “Enter Phy. Inventory Count Results” page.
Use the “Regenerate Tags” page, to regenerate tags.
You can view the details of the tag that are generated or regenerated.
Go to the “Enter Phy. Inventory Count Results” page.
Use the “View Tag History” page, to view the tag details.
Modifying the certificate and parameter information
You can modify the certificate and parameter details of the counted parts in PI plan.
Go to the “Record Serial# & Lot# Information” page
Use the “Edit Certificate & Parameter Information” page, to modify the certificate and parameter details of the part.
