Regenerating tags for the physical inventory plan

This page allows you to regenerate tags. Tell me more

Select the “Regenerate Tags” link at the bottom of the “Select Physical Inventory Plan” page.

The “Regenerate Tags” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Plan Details” group box:

PI Plan #	The PI plan retrieved by the system.
Plan Description	The textual description of the PI plan.
Warehouse #	The warehouse for which the PI plan was generated.
Warehouse Description	The textual description of the warehouse.
Tag Type	The type to which the tag belongs, which could be "General", "Bulk" or "Bulk-Storage Area".
PI Plan Created Date	The date on which the physical inventory plan was created.

Modify the following fields in the “Filter Options” group box:

Tag #	Use the drop-down list box to select the tag number to be regenerated. The system lists all the tag numbers that are associated to the physical inventory plan.
Part #	Use the drop-down list box to select the part number for which the tags must be regenerated. The system lists all the part numbers that are associated to the physical inventory plan.
WH – Zone#	Use the drop-down list box to select the zone number for which the tags must be regenerated. The system lists all the zone numbers in the warehouse associated to the physical inventory plan.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton, to retrieve the details.

The system displays the following fields in the “Part Details” multiline:

Part #	The number identifying the part for which the tags must be regenerated.
Part Description	The textual description of the part.
Tag #	The number identifying the tag.
WH – Zone #	The number identifying the zone in the warehouse.
Bin #	The number identifying the bin in the zone.
Lot #	The lot number of the part.

Enter the following:

Remarks

Any additional information pertaining to the regeneration of tags (Alphanumeric, 255).

Click the “Regenerate Tags” pushbutton to regenerate tags for the part.

Regenerating tags for the physical inventory plan – An overview

This page allows you to regenerate tags. You can select the tag number, zone number and the part number of the physical inventory plan to regenerate tags. You can view plan details such as the plan number, warehouse number and its description, type of the tag and the date on which the tag is created.

The part details such as the zone and bin number of the part, the part number and the tag number are displayed in the multiline.
