Through this activity you can authorize the enrollment of an employee in plan(s).
The "Enroll in plan" activity of the "Benefits Employee Self Service" component facilitates the employee to enroll in various plans. It is possible to authorize the plan only if the enrollment in Self Service option is set to "With Authorization", at the time of defining the plan. This indicates that unless the plan is authorized, the employee cannot enroll in the plan.
Authorizing a plan enrollment involves specifying the search criteria based on which the system will display the records.
Authorizing/Unauthorizing/deleting an enrollment: Select the records, which you have to authorize from the multiline and authorize them. The system also gives the option to view all the details of a particular record before authorizing it.
Note that you can authorize the plan enrollment either in the “Select Plan to Authorize Enrollment” or in the view plan details pages and authorize in the respective pages.
