Enter employee code whose enrollment details must be authorized.
Also enter the plan code for which enrollment details must be authorized.
Select the plan type to which the employee must be enrolled at the bottom of the page.

Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the employee code or the employee name. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the employee code or employee name contains. Optionally, you can also enter the “Plan code”, “Plan description, Date of joining from or date of joining to. You can also specify the “participation dates” and “coverage dates” fields, to narrow your search. Search based on wild card characters is also supported. Apart from specifying above fields, you can also narrow the search by specifying the type of life event. The system fetches the employee records that match the combination of search criteria specified. To increase the probability of finding the closest matching records, you can specify values for as many details as possible.
In the search criteria, you can also specify whether you would like to view only the plans that have to be authorized or unauthorized.
Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.
Employee Code |
The unique employee code of the employee. To view all the employee codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these employee codes. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: ECC1*, will search for those employee codes that start with ECC1. Other examples are *ECC1 and EC*C1. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee. To view all the employee names containing specific characters type in the starting character or characters of these employee names. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: To get Jonathan, type in JO*, to search for those employee names that start with JO. Other examples are *NATHAN, JO*AN, and JONATH*. |
Plan Code |
The unique code that identifies a plan. To view all the plan codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these plan codes. |

Plan Description |
The description of the plans. To view all the plan descriptions containing specific characters type in the starting character or characters of the plan descriptions. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: Exe*, will search for those employee codes that start with Exec. Other examples are *ec and Ex*c. |
Use the fields below to specify dates to indicate the probable period during which the employee has joined.
Date of Joining From |
The date on or after which the employee joined in. For example, if you enter 09/16/01, the system fetches the records of employees who have joined on or after this date. |
Date of Joining To |
The date before which the employee has joined. For example, if you enter 11/11/01, the system fetches the records of employees who joined till this date. |
Note: To indicate the probable period in which the employee has joined, enter both the From and To dates. The system fetches the records of employees who joined during the period.
Use the fields below to specify dates to indicate the probable period during which the plan is open for enrollment.
Participation From Date |
The date on or after which the plans are open for enrollment. For example, if you enter 09/16/01, the system fetches list of all the plans that are open for enrollment the plan after this date. |
Participation To Date |
The date till which the plan is open for enrollment. For example, if you enter 11/11/01, the system fetches the records of all the plans that are open till the specified date. |
Note: To indicate the probable period in which the plans are open for enrollment, enter both the From and To dates. The system fetches the records of employees who joined during the period.
You can also specify the life event that will drive a plan.
Life Events |
From the “Life Events” drop-down list box select the event that will drive the plan. The drop-down list box will display list of all the life events that are applicable to various plans. These are defined in the “HRMS General Masters” component. |
Beside these you can select the different types of plans that the system must fetch.
Authorization |
Select the “Authorization” check box to indicate that the system will display only those plans that have been authorized. |
Unauthorization |
Select the “Unauthorization” check box to indicate that the system will display only those plans that have been unauthorized. |
Select the “ Search” pushbutton.
Note: If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are applicable to the selected benefits enrollment unit.
The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the records that satisfy the search criteria specified.
Employee Code |
The unique code of the employee. |
Plan Code |
The unique code of the plan. |
Plan Category |
The category to which the plan is mapped. |
Date of Joining |
The date on which the employee joins |
Participation From Date |
The date from which the employee participated in the plan. |
Participation To Date |
The date until which the employee participated in the plan. |

To view the complete details of the record before giving authorization, select the required record from the multiline and the applicable link. If you select a record and select the “View Health Plan Enrollment” link. The system displays the health plan details entered by the employee in the “Enroll in a Plan” activity of Benefits Self Service component. Note that you can authorize the enrollment process in this page or view the details in the respective link page and authorize them in the respective pages.
Select the employee(s) whose enrollments have to be authorized, by checking the plans beside the corresponding records in the “Select” column of the multiline.
Select the “Authorize” pushbutton to authorize all the selected records.
The “Status” field of each employee whose enrollment has been authorized will display “Authorized” after successful execution.
Note that you can authorize only the records that have status as “Pending”. Otherwise the system will throw an error. You cannot authorize the record that has already been authorized earlier.
Select the employees whose enrollment in the plans has not been unauthorized, by checking the plans beside the corresponding records in the “Select” column of the multiline.
Select the “Unauthorize” pushbutton to unauthorize the selected records.
The “Status” field of the employee whose enrollment has been unauthorized will display “Unauthorized” after successful execution.
Note that you can unauthorize only those records that have status as “Authorized”. Otherwise the system will throw an error. You cannot unauthorize the record that has not been authorized earlier.
Select the employee records whose enrollment has to be rejected, by checking the plans beside the corresponding records in the “Select” column of the multiline.
Select the “Reject” pushbutton.
The enrollment of the employees for the selected plans for which you have checked in the “Select” column will get rejected.
The “Status” field of each plan for which eligibility participation process was pending will display “Rejected” after successful execution.
Note that you can reject only those records that have status as “Pending”. Otherwise the system will throw an error. You cannot reject the record that has already been authorized earlier.
