The benefit program must be defined in the “Create Benefit Program” activity.
The user(s) and his role must have been defined.
Through this activity, you can set user permissions for a specified program, for example, Prgm-5. The RVW Deployment Workbench, which is the environment in which Ramco iApplications Enterprise Series used, allows user access to be set for only a specific activity. For example, user permissions can be set for the Create Program activity in the Benefit Processing component.
However, user permissions cannot be set for a specific benefit program, through the RVW Deployment Workbench. You require the Set User Permissions – Benefit Program activity to provide user permissions for an individual program only, for instance, PRGM-5. To set user permissions for a selected program, the user names and their role must be specified.
What is to be Carried Out: You can set user permissions for a selected program. Multiple users can be given permission for the program; the date from which each permission is valid must be specified as well. Setting user permissions involves
Selecting the Benefit Security Def. Unit from which the program must be selected
Selecting a program for which user permissions are to be set.
Specifying the user name and his role
Specifying the date range for which he is permitted to access the program.
Note that when you set user permissions for a specific program, example PRGM-5, the user is automatically given permissions to carry out all program-related activities for PRGM-5. In other words, the user can access activities from Benefit Processing through Benefit Accounting, for the selected program.
Modifying and Deleting: Apart from setting user permissions, you can also modify or delete these user permissions.

You can delete the permissions given to user for accessing the program.

Select the user whose permissions are to be deleted
Select the delete icon in the toolbar above the multline.
Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the details.
