Through this activity, you can set user permissions for a specified plan, for example, PLAN-5. The RVW Deployment Workbench, which is the environment in which Ramco iEnterprise series is used, allows user access to be set for only a specific activity. For example, user permissions can be set for the Create Plan activity in the Benefits Processing component.
However, user permissions cannot be set for a specific plan, through the RVW Deployment Workbench. You require the Set User Permissions for a Plan activity to provide user permissions for an individual plan only, for instance, PLAN-5.
What is to be Carried Out: You can set user permissions for a selected plan. Multiple users can be given permission for the plan; the date from which each permission is valid must be specified as well. Setting user permissions involves
Selecting the Benefits Security Def. unit from which the plan must be selected
Selecting a program and plan for which user permissions are to be set.
Specifying the user name and his role
Specifying the date range for which he is permitted to access the plan.
Note that when you set user permissions for a specific plan, example PLAN-5, the user is automatically given permissions to carry out all plan-related activities for PLAN-5. In other words, the user can access the following activities: Plan – enrollment etc.
Modifying and Deleting: Apart from setting user permissions, you can also modify or delete these user permissions.

A program must be defined in the “Create Program” Activity

The user(s) and his role must have been defined.

Enter the period during which the user can access the plan
Save the details
You can modify the permissions given to the user
Select the program and the plan for which you have to modify permissions for the user
Modify the required details
Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the details entered.
You can delete permissions given to the user.
Select the program and the plan for which you have to delete the permissions to an user
Select the user whose permissions are to be deleted
Select the delete icon in the toolbar above the multline.
Select the save pushbutton to delete the user permissions from the database.
