Editing a Rate Table - A summary of the activity

Editing a rate table: Through this activity, you can modify all the details of a rate table. You can also modify the details of the variable based rate tables.

To modify or delete a rate table record, you are to specify the search criteria, based on which the system will fetch the rate table records.

What you can modify

You can edit any or all the following details of a rate table record.

• The short and a long description of rate table record.

• The currency in which the rate is paid.

• The frequency at which the premium is to be paid.

• The span of time for which the rate table is effective.

• Various variables effecting the rate table.

Deleting the rate table record: Apart from modifications, you can also delete the rate table records from the database.

Editing or deleting a rate table record requires you to first select the rate table record in the “Select Rate Table” page. After the record is selected, you are to enter the “Edit Rate Table” page to carry out the necessary modifications. To modify the details of the variable based rate tables, you must enter the “Edit Rate Table – Variable Based” page.
