Viewing the schedule information of an aircraft

View work package - a summary of the activity

Unified Glossary

Basics of using a typical web page

Using online help

This page enables you to view the schedules that have been defined for the maintenance program of a specific aircraft. The execution details of the work units along with the the last performed date, next scheduled due date and the type of usage schedules defined are displayed.

The “View Aircraft Schedule Summary Information” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

The system displays the following details in the “Aircraft Details” group box:

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft that is associated to the program.

Aircraft Model #

The aircraft model to which the aircraft belongs.

Sub Fleet #

The sub fleet number to which the aircraft is a part of.

The system displays the following fields in the “Maintenance Program Information” group box:

Maintenance Program #

The maintenance program to which the aircraft is associated..

Revision #

The revision number of the maintenance program.

Program Desc

The description of the maintenance program.

Zoom facility available

Status

The status of the maintenance program, which can be “Fresh”, “Active”, “Inactive” or “Return”.

The system displays the following fields in the “Schedule Details” multiline:

MPD Group

The Maintenance Planning Document (MPD)Group associated, if any,  to the work unit.

Work Unit

The work unit to be executed as a part of the program.

Prog. Item Type

The system displays any one of the following Program Item Types:

  • Block - Indicates the task contains a group of tasks to be executed based on a schedule

  • Base - Indicates the task to be executed is associated to a block.

  • Perpetual - Indicates the task is to be executed while executing any other tasks on the aircraft.

  • As required - Indicates the task will be executed whenever required.

  • Event driven - Indicates the task will be executed based on the occurrence/ triggering of an event

  • Non-block - Indicates the task to be executed is not associated to a block.

  • To be decided  - Indicates the classification of the program item type for the task will be decided later.

Initiated / Reset by

The system displays any one of the following options:

  • Self Compliance - Indicates the task would be initiated/ reset on compliance of the same task. This implies that the compliance of this task is not dependant on any other task.

  • Related Task Compliance - Indicates the task, on compliance, would initiate/ reset another task available as part of the same program. The task, which has to be initiated on compliance of a task is based on the “Initiate Schedule” relationship defined for that task in the ‘Maintain Task Relationship’ activity under the ”Maintenance Task” business component

Schedule Type

The type of the schedule, which can be “One Time” or “Recurring”.

Execution Status

The execution status of the work unit in the maintenance program. The system displays any one of the following:

  • Forecasted – when a forecast is generated for the work unit.

  • Dormant – when there is no next due date scheduled for the work unit.

  • Deferred – when the work unit is deferred during its execution

  • As Required – when schedule information is not yet provided for the work unit

The system leaves the field blank, if there is a next due date scheduled for the work unit but when forecasts are not yet generated.

Last Performed Date

The date on which the work unit was last performed.

Next Scheduled Date

The next scheduled date of the work unit calculated based on the date-based schedule.

Job Type

Indicates whether the work unit must be performed on the aircraft or on the components fitted to the aircraft. The system displays either “Aircraft” or “Onwing”.

Execution Type

The execution type of the work unit, which can be “Major” or “Minor”.

Position Code

The position code in the aircraft where the work unit must be performed

Level #

The number identifying the level at which the position code occurs in the configuration class attached to the primary model

Eng. Doc #

The engineering document as a part of which the work unit was defined.

Revision #

The revision number of the engineering document.

Schedule Status

The status of the work unit which can be “Fresh”, “Active”, “Inactive” or “Terminated’.

Schedule Indicator

Indicates the type of schedule information defined for the work unit in the maintenance program. The system displays one of the following:

  • Dt – if only threshold value is specified for the date based schedules of the work unit

  • Dt-Fxd – if fixed interval is specified for the date based schedules

  • Dt-Flt – if floating interval value is specified for the date based schedules

  • Dt-Fxd-Flt – if both fixed and floating interval values are specified for the date based schedules

  • Usg – if only threshold value is specified for the usage based schedules of the work unit

  • Usg-Fxd – if fixed interval is specified for the usage based schedules

  • Usg -Flt – if floating interval value is specified for the usage based schedules

  • Usg -Fxd-Flt – if both fixed and floating interval values are specified for the usage based schedules

Dep Sch Indicator

Indicates the type of dependent schedule information defined for the dependent work units of the work unit. The system displays one of the following:

  • Dt – if interval value is specified for the dependent work units

  • Usg – if usage based schedules are specified for the dependent work units

  • Dt / Usg – if both date based schedules and usage based schedules are specified for the dependent work units

Usg Sch Due

Indicates whether usage based schedules are defined for the work unit. The system displays either “Yes” or “No”.

Expense Type

The expense type of the work unit. The system displays either of the following:

  • Revenue – indicates that the cost incurred on the work unit is for routine maintenance activity and must be recorded as revenue cost.

  • Capital – indicates that the cost incurred on the work unit is of a major maintenance expense and must be recorded as a capital cost.

Other References

Any other references based on which the work unit is specified for the maintenance program.

Comments
