Recording aircraft mod # effectivity
This page allows you to record the details of any modification done to the aircraft and its component, and track the modification details.
Select the “Edit Aircraft Mod # Effectivity” link from “Create / Edit / Revise / View Engineering Document” pages under the “Engineering Document” business component.
or
Select the “Edit Aircraft Mod # Effectivity” link from “Create / Edit / Revise / View Maintenance Change Request” pages under the “Maintenance Change Request” business component.
The “Edit Aircraft Mod # Effectivity” page appears.
Note: This page can be invoked only if the following are true:
‘Applicability’ of the MCR # / EO # must be “Aircraft”.
MCR # / Eng. Doc # (and / or Revision # combination) must be in “Fresh” status.
The system displays the following fields in the “MCR Details” group box:
This section is visible, only if the current page is invoked from “Maintenance Change Request” business component.
MCR # |
The number identifying the MCR raised against the aircraft. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the MCR. |
Subject |
The textual description of the MCR. |
ATA # |
The ATA chapter on which the MCR is executed. |
The system displays the following in the “Eng. Doc Details” group box:

Eng. Doc # |
The code identifying the engineering document associated to the MCR. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the engineering document. |
Subject |
The textual description of the engineering document. |
ATA # |
The ATA chapter on which engineering document was created. |
Select the “Mod Details” tab to record the modification details.
Select the “Other Related Change Documents” tab to track the modification details.
To proceed carry out the following:
Select the “Edit Task Information” link to enter details of the tasks that must be performed while executing the MCR.
Select the “Edit Schedule Information” link to record Compliance details for the MCR.
Select the “Edit Configuration Changes” link to record the configuration change information.
Refer to “Maintenance Change Request” online help for more details.
Note: The links mentioned above will be visible if the page is invoked from “Maintenance Change Request” business component.
Select the “Edit Task Details” link to enter the details of the tasks that must be performed while executing the engineering document.
Select the “Initialize Eng. Doc Schedules” link to modify the schedule date of the engineering document for the aircraft.
Select the “Release Eng. Doc.” link to select engineering documents for release or cancellation.
