Recording aircraft modification details
This page allows you to record the details of any modification done to the aircraft and its component.
Enter the following in the “Mod Details” multiline:
Mod # |
The unique number identifying the modification done with respect to the aircraft. Help facility available. |
Mod Description |
The textual description of the modification done to the aircraft. |
Mod Classification |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the mod classification to which the aircraft belongs. The system lists all the ‘Active’ quick codes defined for the type ‘Mod Classification’ in the “Aircraft” business component. By default, the system leaves the field blank. |
Mod Category |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the category under which the mod classification is done. The system lists all the ‘Active’ quick codes defined for the type ‘Mod Category’ in the “Aircraft” business component. By default, the system leaves the field blank. |
ATA # |
The number identifying the ATA chapter. Help facility available. |
Update Mod Compliance? |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether Mod compliance status of all the modifications in the MCR, must be updated. The system lists the values “Yes” and “No”. Mod Compliance will be updated only if the MCR referred EO is complied. Note that EO is said to be complied only if all the tasks in the EO is completed. The system displays “Yes”, by default. |
Remarks |
Any remarks related to the modification done in the aircraft. |
The system displays the following fields:
Created by |
The employee code of the login user who created the modification details. |
Created Date |
The date on which modification details were created. |
Last Modified by |
The employee code of the login user who last modified the modification details. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the modification details were last modified. |
Click the “Update EFfectivity” pushbutton to update the modification details.
Note: This pushbutton is not visible if this page is invoked from “View Engineering Document” or “View Maintenance Change Request” screens.
To proceed carry out the following:
Select the “Other Related Change Documents” tab to track the modification details.
