Edit Aircraft Mod # Effectivity - A summary of the activity

Maintainable objects such as aircraft and component undergo engineering changes in the due course of their operation. These changes are initiated through “Maintenance Change Requests”. These maintenance change requests are evaluated for their economic feasibility and safety implications, and are processed into either engineering document.

This activity allows you to record the details of any modification done to the aircraft. The modification details can be recorded at MCR level or engineering document level. You can also track the modification details in this activity. This activity allows you to perform the following:

• Record the details of modification done to the aircraft.

• Track modification done to the aircraft.

• Update Mod Compliance status of the engineering document.
