This activity allows you to modify or cancel the blanket purchase order (BPO). The “Select BPO” page allows you to select the BPO for modification. You can also cancel the BPO in this page. 4 Use the “Edit BPO” page, to modify all the details pertaining to the blanket purchase order.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cancel BPO

You can carry out a search for blanket purchase orders and cancel selected blanket purchase orders. Once cancelled, the blanket purchase order cannot be used in any transaction. Only blanket purchase orders, which are in “Fresh” or “Draft” status, can be cancelled.

4 Use the “Select BPO” page, to provide search criteria and select a blanket purchase order for cancellation.

4 Click the “Cancel BPO” pushbutton, to cancel the selected blanket purchase orders.

The system updates the status of the BPO to “Cancelled”.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Modify terms and conditions of the blanket purchase order

You can modify the payment terms and conditions, insurance details and delivery terms and conditions for the parts to be purchased.

4 Use the “Edit Terms & Conditions” page, to modify the terms and conditions for the blanket purchase order.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Modify tax, charge and discount details at the part and document level

You can modify the TCD details such as the duty, sales tax, discount and freight charges for the various parts in the blanket purchase order. You can also modify the TCD details for the blanket purchase order as a whole. Tax and charge add to the basic value of the BPO while discount reduces the basic value.

4 Use the “Edit Part TCD Details” page, to modify the tax, charge and discount details for the various parts in the blanket purchase order.

Modify inspection details for the blanket purchase order

You can modify the mode of inspection required for the parts purchased. The inspection of the part can be carried out by the buyer or by any other external resource.
