The “Manage Invoice Release” page appears.

The “Release Main Info.” group box displays the following:

Cust. Order #/Rel. #

The identification number and release version of the customer service order.

Inv. Rel. Readiness

Indicates the completeness of the release, such as Ready to Bill or Not Ready to Bill.

Release Status

The invoice release status of the customer service order.

Customer #

The identification number of the customer.

Customer Name

The name/short description of the customer.

Currency

The currency of the customer order.

Sale Type/Pricing Basis

The sale type/pricing basis for the customer service order.

Pend. Rel. Exists?

Indicates if the execution release is pending for the given customer order, which could be “Yes” or “No”.

Basic Value

The value of the invoice release, in customer order currency.

Order Level TCDs

All order-level taxes/charges/discounts charged to the customer, in customer order currency.

Total Value

The total value of the invoice release, which is equal to;

Basic Value + Order Level TCDs

Exchange Rate

The exchange rate as on the date on which the quote was made.

Ensure that an exchange rate is available for the given quote date.

Note that the system converts the exchange currency to base currency based on the exchange rate defined.

Note: The “Exchange Rate Type for Sales” can be defined in the “Set – Parameter Receivables” page of the “OU Parameter Setup” business component.

The exchange rate for the given exchange rate type can be defined in the “View Exchange Rate” activity of the “Exchange Rate” business component.

Total Value (Base Curr.)

Total Quoted value * Exchange Rate

By default the system leaves this field blank until the creation of a quote.

Bill To Customer

Use the drop-down list box to specify the customer to whom the service must be billed. The system lists all the values of bill to customer as defined in the Customer master for the customer against whom the Invoice Release is generated.

Ship To Customer

Use the drop-down list bod to select the customer to whom the serviced part must be shipped. The system lists all the values of Ship to Customer as defined in the Customer master against whom the Invoice Release is generated.

Ship To Customer ID

Use the drop-down list bod to select the customer to whom the serviced part must be shipped. The system lists all the values of Ship to Customer ID as defined in the Customer master against whom the Invoice Release is generated.

The “Exe. Doc. Info” pane on the left displays the entire hierarchy of execution documents/ work orders for a customer service order.

All the tab pages on the right will display specific details of the customer order/execution documents that you select in the section. You can record/modify/view details for the customer order or any of the execution document for which you wish to view/ record details in these tab pages.

The tree in the “Exe. Doc. Info” pane on the left displays the customer service order at the top. The nodes at the second level in the tree hold shop work orders, AME Ref., repair orders,  purchase orders and exchange orders.

The “Current Ref. Details” group box displays the following on selection of a node in the tree:

CO #

The customer order that you selected in the “Select Customer Order – Services” page.

Exe. Doc. Type

The type of the execution document associated with the tasks and documents for which you are recording/processing invoice release.

Exe. Doc. #

The execution document associated with the tasks and documents for which you are recording/processing invoice release.

The next section lists the tabs that you may visit to record/modify/view details of tasks that you wish to bill in the invoice release.

Update Rel. Readiness

Use the drop-down list box to alter the system determined Not Ready to Bill attribute of the invoice release.

Select “Yes” here and then click the Confirm pushbutton to change the Invoice Rel. Readiness from “Not Ready to Bill” to “Ready to Bill”.

The system updates the Total Value (Base Curr.).

Note: The system includes both quantity and price variances arising from purchase order / repair order vendor billing in the service sale bill.

To cancel invoice release

The status of the invoice release is set to “Cancelled”.

Created by

The name and code of the login user who created the invoice release.

Create Date

The date on which the login user who created the invoice release.

Last Modified by

The name and code of the login user who most recently revised the invoice release.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the login user most recently revised the invoice release.
