What you can do in this activity

Through this activity, training administrators can sponsor employees for training courses based on their individual needs.

By sponsoring an employee, the training administrator approves the participation of an employee in a training course.

Training administrators, through the routine appraisal process assess the knowledge and skills of employees necessary for effective performance in an assignment. Employees may not possess the required skills or may be less proficient in certain skills. To overcome skill deficiencies and thereby work efficiently, employees are sponsored to relevant training courses.

Process Parameter: The process parameter “Appraisal Sponsor Needs Employee Acceptance” determines the further course of processing. If it is set to “Yes”, the acceptance of the employee to sponsorship is necessary for registration, which is the next stage in processing.  Employees can also reject the sponsorship and thereby decline to participate in a training course. Alternatively, if the process parameter is set “No”, the sponsored employees await registration for a specified course.
