Request a Time Deviation
After an employee requests for time deviation, the system checks the permission for time deviation defined for the rota plan to which you belong. The permission could be “Time Deviation Not Allowed“, “With Relaxed Hours” or “With Fixed Hours”. This permission is predefined in the Time Management Setup activity.
“Not Allowed“ specifies that time deviation in the working hours of the rota plan is allowed.
“With Relaxed Hours” specifies that an employee can work for any number of hours; it is not necessary that his working hours are equivalent to his shift hours. But the number of hours that he works must not exceed the scheduled hours of the shift. For example, if the scheduled shift is from 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m., the employee cannot work for more than 6 hours on the shift.
“With Fixed Hours”, implies that he can deviate as long as the total number of hours he puts in are equal to the number of hours in the scheduled shift.
Edit a Time Deviation Request
The employee can edit the request that he had made to the supervisor for a time deviation on a specific date. If the request has been authorized already, it cannot be accessed for editing.. Editing the request is also allowed if the request had been rejected. The reason for rejection is shown.
