The “Employee Schedule” activity allows you to view an individual employee’s timetable for a given month. Essentially, the employee timetable shows his or her scheduled shifts versus actual attendance details.
The Juncture at Which the Employee Timetable is Generated: The system generates the employee timetable, after the following have been carried out:
The employee has been mapped to various rota schedules or adhoc schedules
The employee’s attendance has been recorded for the specified month.
The employee schedule generation must have been carried out through the “Generate Employee Schedule” activity.
What the Employee Timetable Shows: Each date in the month is displayed, along with the scheduled shift on this date and attendance for this scheduled shift. Consolidated details on the number of shift deviations, time deviations, weekly offs and holidays also form a part of the employee timetable. The timetable contains
The date for each day of the month and the day of the week on which the date falls
The alias of the shift scheduled for each date. Instead of the shift alias, it can also reflect weekly off or holiday
The attendance; this refers to whether the employee was present on the scheduled shift, was absent, on leave, on shift deviation, on time deviation or on training
You can also view the following consolidated information, for this month
The number of weekly offs applicable for the employee
The holidays during the month
The number of shift deviations applicable for the employee
The number of time deviations applicable for the employee
Through this timetable, you can determine the workload of the employee for the month.
Factors Affecting the Employee’s Attendance: The primary factors that affect the employee’s attendance are
Mapping of the employee to the rota schedule or
Mapping of the employee to the adhoc schedule
Quick mapping of the employee to a rota schedule
The employee inherits the sequence of shifts and the duration of each shift, from the rota or adhoc schedule. The weekly off is inherited from the rota / adhoc schedule, while the holidays are inherited from the rota plan from which the rota / adhoc schedule is derived.
The other factors that can affect the employee’s attendance are
The employee availing time deviation
