Using online help

The “Review Appraisal Details” page appears.

The system displays the following details of the employee, from the previous page

Date Format

The date format that is applicable to the login user.

Employee

The employee code of the employee who was selected in the previous page.

Assignment No.

The number of the employee’s assignment.

Employment Unit

 The employment unit of the selected employee.

Appraisal Type

The type of appraisal performed for the employee. It could be one of the following:

  •  Annual Appraisal

  • Confirmation Appraisal

  • Contract End Appraisal  

  • Any other user-defined through quick codes

Appraisal Calendar Code

 The code of the appraisal calendar in which the employee’s appraisal falls.

Calendar Short Description

A short description of the appraisal calendar.

Joining Date

The date on which the employee joined the organization.

Confirmation Date

The date on which the employee was confirmed in the organization

Overall Appraisal Rating

The overall appraisal rating, after the system takes into account the overall ratings of each of the appraisers mapped to the employee.

Overall Appraisal Rating Grade

The overall appraisal-rating grade, after the system takes into account the overall grades of each of the appraisers mapped to the employee.

The “Appraisers” multiline displays the following details of each appraiser mapped to the employee

Appraiser Code

The employee code of each appraiser who is mapped to the employee.

Name

The name of the appraiser.

Appraiser’s Employment Unit

The employment unit of the appraiser.

Department

The name of appraiser’s department.

Job Title           

The title of the job held by the appraiser

Position Title

The title of the position held by the appraiser

Period From

The date from which the appraiser is mapped to the employee.

Period To

The date until which the appraiser is mapped to the employee.

Appraiser Weightage (in %)

A percentage, to indicate the weightage of the appraiser’s evaluation with respect to the other appraisers in the multiline

Appraisal Overall Rating

A number to indicate the overall rating of the appraiser, after taking into account the ratings for the employee’s objectives and assignments

Appraisal Overall Rating Grade

A grade to indicate the overall rating of the appraiser, after taking into account the ratings for the employee’s objectives and assignments

Appraisal Mapping Status

The status of mapping of the employee to the appraiser. Given below is a description of each status:

  • Defined: This indicates that the appraiser has been defined/mapped for the employee.

  • Not defined: This indicates that the appraiser has not been defined/mapped for the employee.

Remarks

Any remark pertaining to the appraiser

To compute the overall appraisal rating

The overall appraisal rating will be updated.

To approve

Comments

Any comment or remark pertaining to the employee’s appraisal.

Review Completed

Choose one of the following:

  • “Yes”, to indicate that the employee’s appraisal has been approved

  • “No”, to indicate that the employee’s appraisal has not been approved.

Note: After you set the status of the review in this page, you cannot change the same record’s review status in the “Appraisal Review by Countersigning Officer” page

The “View Self-Appraisal Details” page appears
