Viewing the employee’s self appraisal
You can enter this page through any one of the following links.
In the "View Self Appraisal" activity, select " View Self Appraisal" link in the left pane, or
In the "Appraisal Review by Countersigning Officer" activity, ensure that you have selected the employee, in the “Select Employee to View Appraisal” page and then Select the hyperlinked “Employee Name” field in the selected multiline row, or
In the "Perform employee appraisal" activity, select the “View Self Appraisal” link from the “Perform Employee Appraisal” page.
The “View Employee Self Appraisal” page appears.
The system displays the following. Enter the "Assignment No.", Appraisal Type, Appraisal Calendar Code fields.
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Employment Unit |
The employment unit to which the employee belongs. This refers to the organization unit that holds the Employment Information component. |
Employee |
The employee code and name of the login employee. |
Assignment No. |
From the drop-down list box, select the number of the assignment for which the self-appraisal will be applicable |
Appraisal Type |
From the drop-down list box, select the type of appraisal for which the employee’s self-appraisal must be viewed. It could be one of the following:

Appraisal Calendar Code |
Enter the code of the appraisal calendar in which the self appraisal will be applicable. An appraisal calendar is a specific period of appraisal. For example, the appraisal calendar C1 is for the period 1 January 2003 to 31 December 2003. Help available. |
Calendar Short description |
If you select the appraisal calendar through Help, the short description of the calendar is displayed. |
The system displays the following. |

Period From |
The start date of the appraisal calendar. |
Period To |
The end date of the appraisal calendar. |
Parameter Category |
The parameter category defined at the Employee Level. |
Weightage Computation Level |
The weightage computation level defined for the appraisal calendar and Parameter Category. |
Joining Date |
The date of joining of the employee |
Confirmation Date |
The date on which the employee was confirmed in the organization. |
Employee Appraisal Status |
The status of the employee’s appraisal. It can be one of the following:

To view performance evaluation details
The “Performance Evaluation” multiline displays the following
Objective Group |
The objective group from which you require to view the objectives. |
Objective Type |
The type of an objective from which you require to view objectives. |
Objective Description |
A brief description of each objective. Tell me more. |
Objective Detailed Description (Desired Outcome/Targets) |
A detailed description of the objective. |
Appraiser Code |
The employee code of the appraiser who evaluated the employee on the objective. |
Appraiser Name |
The name of the appraiser. |
Appraiser’s Employment Unit |
The employment unit to which the appraiser belongs. |
Unit of Measure |
The unit of measure of the quantitative target. |
Quantitative Target |
The quantitative target defined for the objective group and type. |
Self Quantitative Achievement |
The self quantitative achievement of the employee against this objective. |
Self Achievement % |
The self quantitative achievement of the employee against this objective specified in percentage. |
Achievement |
The employee’s achievement against this objective. |
Weightage |
A number to indicate the weightage assigned to the objective, with respect to the other objectives listed in the multiline. |
Weightage (in %) |
The weightage assigned to the objective, in percentage. Example. |
System Rating |
The system rating applicable for this objectives. |
System Rate Grade |
The system rate grade that indicates the performance of the employee for this objective. |
Achievement |
The employee’s achievement against this objective, as free text |
Self Rating |
The self rating of an employee against this objective. |
Rate Grade |
The rate grade that indicates the performance of the employee for this objective. |
Weighted Score % |
The weighted score of the employee for this objective. |
Remarks |
Any remarks or comments regarding the performance evaluation details. |
Rating Pattern |
The rating pattern applicable for this objective. |
View Supporting Document |
The supporting document attached for this objective. |
To view other duties/projects undertaken
The “Other Duties/Projects Undertaken” multiline displays the following
Objective Group |
The objective group from which you require to view the objectives. |
Objective Type |
The type of an objective from which you require to view objectives. |
Assignments Undertaken |
Each assignment that the employee undertook during the period of the appraisal calendar, which required to be evaluated. |
Desired Outcomes/Targets |
The desired outcomes/targets expected of the employee, for the assignment. |
Appraiser Code |
The employee code of the appraiser who evaluated the employee on the assignment |
Appraiser Name |
The name of the appraiser |
Appraiser’s Employment Unit |
The employment unit to which the appraiser belongs |
Weightage |
A number to indicate the weightage assigned to the project/other duty, with respect to the other objectives listed in the multiline. |
Weightage (in %) |
The weightage assigned to the assignment, in percentage. Example. |
Achievement |
The achievement of the employee, for the assignment. This is displayed as free text |
Rating Pattern |
The rating pattern applicable for this objective. |
Self Rating |
The self rating of an employee against this objective. |
Rate Grade |
The rate grade that indicates the performance of the employee for this project/other duty. |
Weighted Score % |
The weighted score of the employee for this objective. |
Remarks |
Any remarks or comments regarding the other duties or projects undertaken details. |
